Sam looked at Julia then at Barbie again.

"I don't know if we can save her Barbie."

"Please Sam, I need your help. There has to be something we can do," Barbie answered. He watched as Julia flinched from the pain. Her head fell off the table but Barbie caught it just in time. He started into her eyes and brought his lips to her cheek with a kiss.

"Barbie," she had woken up. He took her hand.

"Oh thank God," he whispered while kissing her hand. "It's gonna be alright. We are gonna get you better then get out of this place."She nodded and closed her eyes again.

"I love you, Barbie" she muttered back and tears rolled down his eyes again and he smiled.

"I think there is something we can do," Sam explained. Barbie nodded. " It doesn't look like an artery was damaged, so if we can get her to stop bleeding she will be fine. She lost alot of blood already so we have to hurry up or she will die."

"Okay umm what do I need to do?" Barbie responded. He cringed at the thought of Julia dying. The shirt on her wound was drenched in blood and more was spilling out. Sam felt her neck to check her pulse. "Is she okay?"

"For now," he answered. "We need something to seal the wound with."

Barbie zipped open his bag and pulled out a large, thin wrag.

"Will this work? We can cut a piece off and stitch it on," Barbie questioned. Sam shook his head yes. They hoped it would work. There was nothing else they could use.

Barbie quickly put pressure on Julia's shoulder to stop the bleeding, while Sam placed the wrag on it. There were no stitches left in Chester's Mill, except the ones in Julia's other shoulder. They had to take them out and restitch them into her new injury. There wasn't enough to keep the wrag on however. Barbie went into his bag and pulled out a roll of medical tape.

"How do you have all of these supplies?" Sam asked. Barbie had packed them in case he got any injuries when he came to get money from Peter Shumway, but he wasn't going to tell Sam that. He still didn't trust him enough.

"I grabbed them from Julia's house before it collapsed, just in case," he lied. They taped the bandage on and the bleeding slowed down. Julia was safe now.

"I'm gonna find Junior and get out of here. Will you be alright with her?" Sam said.

"Yeah we will meet you out there soon, be safe," he replied.

Soon after Sam left, Julia woke up again. Barbie walked over as he heard her grunting from the pain. "Shh it's gonna be okay." He said as their hands intertwined.

"It hurts so much."

"I know it does, but the pain will go away soon and I'm gonna be here with you for every second that goes by. Don't worry," he reasured her. Julia tried to lift her head, but Barbie supported it with his hand. He leaned in to kiss her cheek and she moved it so their lips would meet. They both smiled as they kissed eachother. Barbie was suprised that she did not flinch in pain as he lifted her head up and continued their kiss. Julia followed along as Barbie guided her lips along kissing her once more. For fifteen seconds it was like nothing was wrong at all. And the world was perfect.

As they backed away to catch their breath, Barbie stroked Julia's hair pulling it back from her face. She smiled and looked at him. Her smile turned to a frown as she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder again. Julia grabbed Barbie's hand and tried to move.

"Barbie, it hurts again," she whispered. He carefully lifted her up and carried her over to the couch on the other side of the room, so she would be more comfortable. Barbie layed her down and placed her head gently on a pillow. She smiled again at him and he did the same. He kneeled down next to her.

"Is that better?" he laughed.

"Yeah," she answered. Her face lit up as if she couldn't even feel the pain anymore. "Thanks," she added looking back up at him. They held hands again.

"I wasn't gonna let you die like that. You don't deserve it and I'm never gonna let anyone hurt you ever again. I'm never gonna leave you Julia. I love you," he told her while smiling into her beautiful blue eyes.

"I love you too Barbie," she answered as they both teared up. He kissed her cheek and she stroked his hair, pulling him in for a hug. Julia rested her head on Barbie's shoulder and turned to kiss his neck.

"My little monarch!" he joked. She laughed and pulled her head back to look at him. He had a grin on his face.

" You are still my stray!" she said shaking her head in laughter. They leaned in for one last kiss and rested their heads on eachother. Barbie then layed down next to her on the couch. They fell asleep comfortably in the company of one another. All was right with the world again.
