Chapter 22

* Alana's POV *

August packed his bags while I stood nearby watching.

Alana: So, you um, coming back when?

August: Monday morning ma.

Alana: Well, I'll miss you.

August: I'll miss you too.

He grabbed me into his arms giving me a kiss.

August: I gotta go. Love you.

He picked up his bags walking downstairs. I heard the front door shut. I walked over to the window watching him throw the bags into the backseat before pulling out the driveway.

Alana: Love you too.

I whispered.

* August's POV *

Kat, KD, & Tony put their bags in the trunk & got into the backseat.

Kat: Wassup man?

August: Nothing bruh.

We pulled up to Rico's house & he got into the front seat passing his bag to the back.

Tony: Where Candice?

Rico: Doctor appointment. I told her about my trip, but she don't know it's all of us since August suppose to be in Chicago with Chris.

Kat: Oh.

Tony:

We took off up the road pulling up to the airport.

* Alana's POV *

I packed my bag & heard the doorbell rang. I looked over at the clock thinking to myself that I had 15 minutes to be at Tonya's so we could go. Grabbing my bag walking downstairs & opening the door.

Sean: Alana?

Alana: Sean what are you doing here?

Sean: I just came to see you that's all.

Alana: Why?

Sean: To see how your doing?

Alana: I'm fine, thanks for wondering.

Sean: Alana are you really okay?

Alana: I promise you, I'm okay.

Sean: I just asked that's all.

Alana: Okay.

Sean: I'll see you around.

He turned around walking back towards his car.

Alana: Sean?

Sean: Yeah?

He said turning around.

Alana: What's going on?

Sean: I just had a dream that's all.

Alana: You had a dream? About what?

Sean: You.

Alana: What about me?

Sean: That something happened to you.

I looked around as he got into his car leaving. I was confused. Why would something happen to me in his dream? Why would he even be having a dream about me?
