對於我,世界上最難做的事情就是説真話。
Jungkook POV
6:00 am Friday
I woke up early in the morning, the sky still dim. Half awake, I propped myself up on two arms and pressed my ear against the wall, hoping to hear a sound, a snore, any signs that V might have gotten home late.
Nothing.
I planted my face into my hands frustratedly. Nothing was going according to plan.
With heavy limbs, I dragged myself out of bed to the bathroom. I peered at my own reflection in disgust. Yeesh. I looked positively hungover. I patted down my hair with water and a comb, and brushed my teeth with overly minty toothpaste that burned my gums.
After spraying myself with cologne, I slipped on a black t shirt and ripped black jeans. Just the usual. I checked myself in the mirror once more. Decent enough.
Grabbing my backpack, I left the apartment building, ears ringing from tiredness. The whole world seemed still and quiet, still asleep. A bird chirped loudly from a sycamore tree, startling me.
It only took me a couple minutes to get to school. I was obviously way too early. The courtyard was eerily silent, and the only person in view was the night guard. He raised an eyebrow at me as I entered the school gates.
With tired steps, I made my way into the boy's locker room. The lights weren't even on yet. I opened the control panel and with a press of a button, white light flooded the room. I sat down on a bench, swinging my bag off to the side. A yawn escaped my mouth, and black dots speckled my eyesight.
Maybe I should close my eyes for a second...

Taehyung POV
7:48 am Friday
"Tae!"
"Tae! Get up!"
I groaned and ran fingers through my hair. I rolled over to one side and curled up under the soft blankets.
"Five more minutes..." I mumbled. I felt a hard jab in my stomach. I dropped to the floor, howling in pain. "Ow! What was that for?" I widened my eyes to see Jimin staring down at me with a panicked expression.
"Idiot," He rolled his eyes. "Class starts in 15 minutes." I sat up on the floor and rubbed my head. There was an annoying crick in my neck. I blew a strand of hair out of my eyes and huffed, "I don't see why you had to punch me." Jimin kicked me again.
"OW!"
"Get up!" He shouted, walking off to get dressed. "We're late!" Still half asleep, I peeled myself up off the floor and borrowed a few clothes from Jimin's wardrobe. The t shirt was tight around my waist, and the shorts were wrapped tightly against my butt. I glanced at Jimin, who was brushing his teeth in the bathroom.
"You got any bigger clothes?" I called out. He shot a glare at me.
"You saying I'm small?" He snorted. "You're just too fat."
"Love you too Jimin," I smirked. He always got so salty when I mentioned his size. His big heart made up for his smallness.
He popped his head around the side of the wall, hair wet with humidity. I picked up my schoolbag.
"Lets go."

Taehyung POV
9:30 am Friday
I collapsed into the seat of my second classroom of the day- biology. I was dreading it. Our teacher, Miss Jeong, was a total slut. Ever since her husband divorced her, she wore low cut tank tops and shorts and skirts that revealed way too much skin. She flirted with students and teachers alike, regardless of their gender or age. Rumour had it that she even tried to hit on the headmaster.
I wasn't familiar with anyone in my class. Well, other than Jungkook. I wouldn't call that familiar, I'd say acquainted. Of course, he took the seat beside me. Before sitting down, he thumped a fist into my desk, an annoying smirk on his face. I could only press my lips into a tight line and ignore him.
"Good morning class," Miss Jeong purred, leaning over her desk in a v cut shirt, her long black hair falling against her surgically shaped face. Her eyes were slanted upwards, like a particularly ugly feline staring at her prey. "Hope you're ready for some dissection today." Everyone in the class muttered in protest. Cutting up pickled dead animals was not anyone's thing.
Miss Jeong smiled, but it was a creepy, Cheshire Cat smile.
"And I'll be choosing your partners."
With that, everyone exploded with disappointment and annoyance. I stayed silent. Based on my last few days, luck was not on my side. I was 10/10 sure that Miss Jeong would put Jungkook and I together. Like I predicted, she laid sight on Jungkook, and her lips curved upwards. Miss Jeong licked her lips satisfyingly.
"Mr Jeon, too bad students can't work with teachers," She said flirtatiously. "I guess I'll have to pair you with Taehyung." Jungkook immediately flashed a sneer in my direction. I sighed. I had accepted my fate long ago. I stood up and approached the work station, where Jungkook had already started to put on his gloves. I stared long and hard at the lifeless frog lying on the board.
"Poor little shit huh," Jungkook snickered. He handed me a scalpel. I took it without meeting his eyes. Instead, I focused on the frog. Carefully, I slit open its stomach and examined the insides. Vomit was bubbling inside my stomach. Cutting open a frog was better than having to talk to Jungkook. Speaking of Jungkook...
I felt a pair of eyes watching me. Cold, black glass eyes. I turned to see Jungkook resting against the tabletop, watching me chop open the little amphibian. He had an unsettling grin on his face.
"What," I spat. "Never seen someone dissect a person dissect a frog before?" He blinked once, and smirked.
"I have," He replied. "Just never seen a hot boy do it." I flushed red, not sure if to be embarrassed or mad. I put down my scalpel.
"First you slap me," I scowled. "Now you're hitting on me?" His trademark smirk stayed in place. He leant in closer, so I could just about feel his hot breath on my face.
"I do what I want," Jungkook said, his eyes so black they seemed infinite. "I say what I want." I swallowed down my dear and uncertainty.
"You can't fool me with this bad boy facade," I answered angrily, stepping back. "I know there's something more to it, to why you bully me." Jungkook snarled.
"You know nothing about me," He said firmly. "And I don't have to tell you anything." I groaned exasperatedly. I was SO done with this shit.
"Why can't you just be honest?!" I yelled silently. "Is it so hard?"
Jungkook leaned over, a sudden thunder in his pupils. I immediately regretted everything I said.
"The hardest thing in the world for me," He spat. "Is to be honest."
And he stormed out of the classroom and I never saw him again that day.
