CHAPTER 4
So I went to school today wearing shades and a snapback. But when Maddie suddenly came to me.
"Hey. What's up?" she asked with a smile.
"Ummm.... Nothing." I replied.
"Howcome you didn't call me last night?" she asked
"Uhh--.." I said.
Then suddenly I think she noticed the bruise by my lip. And then that smile suddenly turned upside down.
"Whoa! Is that a bruise by your lip?" she asked with that concern tone.
"Uhhh--.." I replied
"Yeah that is a bruise!! What happened to you?" she asked.
"Ummm--.." I said
She putted her hands on her waist and asked "Was it Bryan?"
"Well.. Um.." I said
Then she raised one eyebrow.
"WELL?!" she asked me once more.
"Okay. Okay. Yes it was Bryan. There I said it." I replied.
"Ugghh.. He just doesn't know how to stop!!" she yelled
"It's fine Maddie. I feel okay now."
"No! It's not okay. It's not okay for him to beat you up just because we're getting close now." she said.
"He actually wants me to stay away from you." I replied.
"What?! Why?" she asked.
" I don't know what his deal is. He just wants me to."
The she just walked out.

I can't believe this!!! Bryan beated up Michael! What kind of a friend is he? Ugh. It just makes me mad cause Michael is completely innocent. Why would he do that??
Then I saw Bryan walking..
"BRYAN!!" I screamed at him.
"Oh hey Maddie!" he said.
"Don't 'hey Maddie' me! Why did you beat up Michael?" I asked him.
He didn't answer.
"WELL?!" I asked once more
"Okay! okay. It was because I was getting jealous of how you two are getting close now. It hurts to see that cause I still love you Maddie!" he replied.
"Now, you stay away from Michael. I'm serious Bryan. And you should've thought of that before you cheated on me!!! I don't love you anymore Bryan. Please stop!" I said then stormed off.
I am so mad at Bryan. He is Michael's friend. I can't believe that he did that to his own friend. It's just not nice.
"Michael, I talked to Bryan about what he did." I said to him
"Really? What did he say?" he asked
"He said he was jealous of how we were getting close." I replied.
"Oh... Weird." he said.
"Yeah, I know." replied.
