"F*ck, why was I so blind!" Nathan cursed.
How couldn't he had noticed? How couldn't he have seen the signs! He should've known Brandalynn wasn't all she appeared to be...
He should've known, since he's just the same.
Emo Boy... Jason's words rang through his head.
So what? Its true, and since he had been called such quite a few times, it no longer bothered him.
Nathan remembered when it first started... When he first cut...
Stop, you'll only drive yourself mad. Nathan thought.
The weekend drove him insane already. He needed to talk to Brandal... He HAD to...
And he would, whether she liked it or not.

Classes went quickly, for all Brandalynn was doing was thinking.
Thinking about Jay.
Thinking about Nyssa.
Thinking about the Scary Fairy...
Speaking of the Scary Fairy, where was he?
Brandalynn saw Nyssa several times, though Nathan hadn't been anywhere in sight. Perhaps he had stayed home?
Either way, Brandalynn was a little worried. And she didn't even know why.
.
Lunch came around and Brandalynn STILL hadn't seen sign of Nathan.
Eh, I'm just over thinking things, she thought.
Mandy and Layla were talking with Jason and Mike; Danni, Micky, and Jen were giggling about something; and Brandalynn sat to wait for Jay.
"I'm totally still betting on Mandy and Jason being a thing," Brandalynn heard Danni whisper.
"I know right!" Micky exclaimed.
"Mandy and Jason, sittin in a tree...!" Jen started singing the song.
THE song.
THE song Mandy just so happened to hear.
"SHUT UP JEN!" Mandy yelled, and punched her in the arm.
"Owwie" Jen pouted and rubbed her arm.
"That wasn't very nice," Nyssa commented, walking over to Jen.
"Who the hell cares what you think?" Mandy sneered.
"Doesn't matter," Nyssa snapped.
"Just leave us alone already! You never talk to any of us, and when you do, you say something all smart@ss-ish!" Mandy yelled.
"Bad word!" Jen pointed at Mandy.
"Shut up Jen."
"Make Her," Nyssa snapped, getting in her way. "I DARE You."
Brandalynn sat there, debating on what she should do. Should she even interfere at all? But then it'll seem liked she's taking sides. Should she just watch? But then she'll appear as a bad friend...
"Stop it, both of you" Brandalynn found her voice, separating the two.
"So you're taking sides with her now!?!" Mandy yelled, trying to shove Brandalynn out of the way.
