(4) I Need To Come Home

A few months later Shiloh was joining the packs out on a full moon night. Bucky was still away at school. Shiloh went away from the pack to go to the bathroom as she was walking back she heard whimpers and went to see. But it was a trap to lure her it was another one of Jones' boys 

She started to yelp and whimper as he attacked her Max her older brother was still in town. He heard his little sister and ran and pounced on the wolf and ripped his throat out. Bucky was in his dorm room doing his homework. "Shiloh" he whispered 

He frantically called his dad cause he knew something was wrong. By the time he called for the 5th time James finally answered "James' he said when he picked up.

"Dad is she okay?' he said

"I don't know right now son. Rosalie and Ryan rushed her home on Max's back cause she was afraid to move." James said 

Bucky started to pack "I need to come home I promised to protect her and I have failed her dad. I'm not that great of an alpha I'm sorry I let you down and her." he said as he packed his bags.

"Son..you went away to college." James said

"I know I did but this was to far." he said and hung up.

Winnie looked at James "I told you James." as she walked out to help Rosalie with Shiloh. 

Shiloh was laying in her bed with scratches across her face and sides the next morning. Bucky ran to her house when he got home the next morning. He knocked on the door Ryan said "She's in her room." 

"I'm sorry Ryan. I let everyone down." he said

"James don't you blame yourself. Do you understand you were away and Max took care of him we will be having pack meeting tonight regarding this." Ryan said

Bucky went upstairs he opened her door "Shiloh" he whispered 

She looked up at him "oh my god.." he whispered as he walked over to her. "I'm sorry I'm suppose to protect you." as he pulled her into his lap and hugged her. That night they were all gathered around a bonfire when Ryan and James stood up. 

"We have a matter to discuss." Ryan said

"Damn right we do. Your boy killed my boy." Jones said

"He had ever right to. Your boy attacked his little sister he lured her into a trap I know all about it. Shiloh doesn't lie" Ryan said 

"Well maybe he wouldn't be trying to get with your daughter if she was mated off. She's what 16 is that the rule she's supose to be mated off after she turned 16." Jones said 

"She's been promised to someone." Ryan said through a growl. 

"Oh really where has this alpha been that he's not been here to protect his sweet little omega." Jones said 

"I've been away Jones' and you don't talk about her I took you down once and I'll do it again." Bucky said 

Jones walked over to him "You and a omega that's rich. How many betas have you been with you are nothing but shitty alpha. You can't even protect your omega." Jones said then he looked at Shiloh "She's sweet and smells sweet too" as he went to touch her face.

Bucky's eye went dark and he growled "Don't touch her." he said 

"She doesn't deserve an alpha like you." Jones' said as he walked away. 

Bucky transformed and pounced on Jones. They started to fight Ryan and James pulled them apart. 

"Enough.. Jones' you keep your pack out of our way do you understand you all are lone wolves and yet you all keep coming around here. So get the hell out of here and never come back" Ryan said 

"This is why we are lone wolves." Jones' said he took his pack away. 

Bucky and Shiloh walked home he looked over at her and he could tell she was scared to death. "Shiloh.." he whispered 

She kept her head down till they made it to his house and they went upstairs. She was sitting on his bed as he cleaned himself up. "Is this where you make me yours." she said 

"Not tonight that's not for another two weeks." Bucky said 

She looked up at him and he smiled at her. He caressed her cheek as she was shaking. "Shh it's okay I'm here don't cry.' he whispered 

Once she was calm enough he walked her home.
