"What did I do now?" Khushi asked pouting.
"Nothing Khushi.." Anjali giggled staring at Akash with I-caught-your-lies look.
Akash walked to Khushi and patted her cheek, "Khushi you can't be so innocent at times!"
Saying this he left completely embarrassed that Anjali caught him and his brother. Anjali laughed heartily seeing her brothers running away like that.
Khushi shrugged confused, "Yeh ASR bhi na bade confused log hain (These ASR are very confused people).. First Anjali ji asked me such weird questions if I miss Arnav sir and Akash sir when they work with me only, then Arnav sir said he will fire me for speaking the truth.. I didn't even do anything wrong now.. woh Laad governor I should be surprised with his reactions.. It's always same, short tempered man! And now Akash sir is saying that I shouldn't be so innocent.. They are making my brain confused!" she pouted.
After that Khushi and Anjali continued chatting over random stuff.
"Khushi good that you came to visit us.. See as soon as you came, happiness came in to my life.." Anjali said patting Khushi's cheek lovingly.
"Me?" Khushi asked with an unsure smile.
"Yes.. because of you, I'm laughing like this early in morning.. Imagine when you start living here, then my day will be filled with laughter!" Anjali smiled.
"You're making me feel like I'm the host of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'" Khushi giggled innocently.
"But why would I live here Anjali ji?" Khushi asked confused.
"Uhh.. I.. I think Mami ji is calling me.." Anjali said and escaped from there quickly biting her tongue on the way for not keeping control of her mouth when talking.
"I didn't even hear Mami ji calling Anjali ji.. Am I having some hearing problems now?" Khushi thought confusedly patting her ear to check if she can hear properly or not.
That's when Arnav came and watch doing her cute antics, he shook his head: Haven't you got your brain check up done yet?
Khushi wanted to reply, but before that Arnav spoke glaring at her: And get your mouth stitched too.
"How will I eat then with my mouth stitched?" Khushi frowned.
"Isliye dimaag kali hai.. pet se jo sochti ho (That's why your brain is empty.. as you think from your stomach)" Arnav retorted.
"App na.." she got interrupted again by a sudden excitement shout that belonged to none other than Lavanya.
"ASR.." Lavanya came rushing to him smiling, then she glanced at Khushi and frowned: What is she doing here?
"None of your business Lavanya.." Arnav said sternly.
"You should tell me why you didn't show up at yesterday's meeting? Why aren't giving attention to your work these days? You shouldn't think that just because you're my friend, you should take everything from granted.. If you're not interested in working for AR, then tell me.. there are bunch of talented people out there waiting to grab this golden opportunity in their life!" Arnav shouted.
"I'm sorry ASR.." Lavanya looked at him while a lone tear escaped from her eyes.
Khushi's heart skipped a beat, will he brush his cheek against Lavanya's and say it's okay also like he did with her.
Khushi looked away uncomfortable, fidgeting her duppata and just hoping Arnav doesn't go close to Lavanya.
"You know that Sorry is not the right word to use in front of me.. and stop crying dammit! Here I'm talking professionally with you and you're taking things personally now.. If you were not working for me, would you cry like this in front of your employer?" Arnav said irked. This is why he hates women, they're just too much over dramatic and always think they can emotionally blackmail him. Well a certain Khushi Kumari Gupta can!
