I wake up, rush to the mirror, apply my make-up quickly, and walk out the door and go to Asher's house. He is waiting for me. So sweet! We walk to school talking about what's in and talk about what idiots Grey and her friends are. He walks me to my first class Home Economics.
When I walk into Room 110, I see Karson already starting to cook. I start to freak out because I should have the same opportunity as her. Mrs. Bridge says that I do. I throw my arms into the air and go to my station and softly crack my eggs into my bowl.
Then, I have to go to my next class: Language Arts. I scan the room for my best friend Mac. Mac is the beauty pageant queen. Mr. Harcourt walks in and tells us that we will be making posters for our spelling bee.
No thanks! I don't speak nerd!
Leo shouts, "Yes!"
"Now, that's some positive energy!,"says Mr. Harcourt,"You all should be like Leo!"
Ok, this made me mad. I knew that Grey and her gang hung out at the Cookie Crumble Bakery every afternoon. I was tired of Grey not caring about anyone except herself. I will sneak into the bakery and put poison into Grey's favorite flavor of cupcake: Red Velvet. I know this because I looked it up on Grey's MySpace page.
Good thing I have science next. I can mix up a solution that will poison her! Life is good, for us populars!
When the time came, I opened the back window and saw Leo piping a cake. Hopefully, he won't notice. I opened the oven very quietly and tipped a bit of my solution into the batch. Then, I ran into the front and pretended to read a magazine. But, I didn't know that Grey was running the bakery!
Sophie Sharp had chosen the red velvet cupcakes. Soon, she was on the floor, with her hands around her neck. I don't want to tell you how Grey saved the day this time!
*******************************
The next day at school, Grey asked me where I was when Sophie was poisoned. I couldn't tell Grey the truth, so I said I was in detention. She pulled out my lip-gloss and said that she found it on the oven. I was stunned. Grey started to go to the principal's office. I soon found myself in detention for the whole year. There goes my social life. Nice job, Grey! You have saved the day again! Ughhhhhh!
