"Y/N," I heard my brother, Mitch Marner, called. I groaned wondering what my twin brother wanted.

"What," I called back as rolled off of my bed and walked out of my room. I entered into the living room of Mitch and I's shared apartment to see him and his best friend, Auston Matthews, sitting on the couch. When Mitch was drafted by the Maple Leafs, I decided to stay with him in the city and attend the University of Toronto. This means that I am extremely close with the entire team. A little too close with some of the players. Most of them, I see as more brothers, except for one. William Nylander was my boyfriend of almost 3 months and no one really knew, especially not Mitch. He would lose it knowing that his only sister/twin sister was dating a teammate and close friend of his.

"The boys are coming over," Mitch said as he scrolled through the tv channels looking for something to watch.

"Which ones," I asked, hoping that Willy would be one of them. Although I saw him almost every day, we don't really see each other. Normally we have to pretend that we are just friends, but when the boys come over, it's different. Usually, I stay in my room allowing the boys to have their team bonding moments, and Will would sneak down to see me, claiming that he has to go to the bathroom. The rest of the team doesn't suspect anything, except for Kappy who once walked into my room thinking it was the bathroom and saw Will and me kissing. We made him swear to us that he wouldn't mention it to anyone else.

"The usual. Freddie, Patty, Kappy, Mo, Zach, and then Willy," Auston responded this time.

"Oh cool. Well then, I'll just be in my room then. Call me when you guys get food so I can have some."

"Yeah, sure, whatever Y/N," Mitch mumbled as he found something on tv that he found interesting.

"Don't worry, Y/N," I looked at Auston as he spoke," I'll make sure that we have some food for you."

"Thanks, Aus," I exclaimed as I planted a kiss on his cheek as I walked by him as another form of thanks. This caused Mitch to groan. I ignored my brother's whining and continued back down the hallway. Behind me, I heard Auston say to Mitch, "dude, I would never go after Y/N. She's your sister and I see her as another sister to me."

I didn't hear Mitch's response as I closed my door and made my way over to the desk in the corner of my room. I decided that I would try and get some homework done for my classes before all of the boys got to the apartment and it became super loud. I was typing a paper for my philosophy class when I heard the rowdy boys enter into the apartment and it sounded like a herd of buffalo came charging in. They were all yelling and maybe wrestling, but I couldn't tell as it just sounded like pure chaos to me. I decided to stop doing my schoolwork and instead put on Netflix. I had gotten through two episodes of "Peaky Blinders," before I saw someone enter my room. I jumped up from my laying position on my bed to kneeling on my bed as I saw Will enter my room.

"Hey, babe," he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist as my arms went around his neck. His lips quickly attached to mine. It was all innocent until I felt Will's tongue trace my bottom lip, asking for permission. I pulled away as I didn't want it to get to heated with my brother and his friends just down the hall.

"Babe, whatcha doing in my room," I questioned as Will started kissing down my neck. "You could get caught."

"Matty was going to come to tell you that the food was here but I said I would since I "have to go to the bathroom."," he said as he continued planting kisses all over me. All I could get out as a response was a soft "oh" before Will's lips were back on mine. I gave into his attempts to get his tongue in my mouth and just decided to enjoy the moment. I tangled my fingers into his hair as I felt his hand travel towards my ass before he gave it a squeeze. I let out a quiet gasp as I felt him smile against my lips.

"Oh shit," I suddenly heard from my doorway. Willy kept his hands on me as we both turned to see Auston standing there with his eyes wide open. It was like everything was in slow motion as we continued to stare at each other. But that tense/awkward stare was broken when I saw Mitch come running to the door frame and pushed Auston out of his way.

"Y/N, are you o-," I heard Mitch start before he stopped mid-question. He had a perplexed look on his face as he stared at one of his teammates and sister.

"Mitch, I can explain," I started as I got off my bed to start walking towards him.

"You don't have to," I heard his response. Oh, shit. This means I am in deep shit. I'm about to be lectured on how I shouldn't date his teammates. That I am a horrible person for lying to him. About how I can't live with him anymore. " I am happy for you."

"Mitch, I'm really- wait, what," I stopped myself, as I also heard Will question him too.

"I am happy for you. Both of you. If you guys are good for each other, then I'm not going to stop you guys. It will actually be cool that one of my closest friends is dating my sister," Mitch cheerfully explained. He soon got serious as he said, "If you hurt her, Nylander, you die."

"So you are good with this," I confirmed as I pointed between Will and I.

"Yeah!"

"Guys," Auston suddenly exclaimed. I forgot he was even standing there and that he was the one that started this entire revelation. He was running down the hall as I heard him scream, "Will and Y/N ARE DATING!!! AND MITCH DIDN'T KILL HIM!!"
