        Beep beep' the horn from who ever was driving sounded in front of my house taking one last look in front of mirror I shrugged for I was not going to debate how I got all dressed up for 'she-who-shall-not-be-named'. She is like taboo an boy do she know how to push my buttons to get me to react, did it have a class on all things Soteria or Soteria 101. I swear that girl she has some kind of radar that she knows exactly where I am when I'm avoiding her.

Yesterday I did not want to waste my lunch by not eating cause I felt so tuned into her so I went to the greenery on the roof. As I sat there enjoying the smell of lily's, jasmine's, and rose's while I had lunch ' so this is where you've decided to hide from me?' Her voice said behind me causing me to tense for I didn't even hear when the door opened.

"I came to enjoy the smell of flowers an get my head around the fact that you are the most persistent person I ever had the displeasure or meeting"

She smiled at that an sat down next so that our legs touched, I wonder if she felt the static an heat that happened every time we touched? 

"Well its a good thing cause anyone else vying for your attention will be severely put down" was her reply an I felt her tense an I looked into her eyes an they were shadowed with emotion. 

Beeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeep the blare of the car horn outside jerked me out of my thoughts. Poking my head out of my window ' I'm bloody coming take your effing time' I shouted only to hear my mother shout at me for my language ' Sygnómi mitéra" (sorry mother) not bothering to look at the mirror again I grabbed my stuff an walked downstairs only to see my mother an Venus by the door talking. 

I so did not want those two talking so I grabbed Venus's hand an pulled her out the door 'By mitéra, see you to morrow evening ok an I have my cell if you need to reach me". 

Venus had a huge grin on her face that had me wondering what the hell was said.

'Didn't know you're so eager to be alone with me' saying as I opened her door she just rolled her eyes at me an got in the jeep.

«Its not working no matter how hard I try to ignore her, her presence was like a slow acting poison that moves in your system. 

Hmmm mm yes that is exactly what she is poison to my senses an my hormones which seem to be on overdrive just by sitting in close quarters with her» mused Soteria. 

" You know if you stare harder I might just turn to stone' I said as I watched her scowl at me for the past ten minutes I wonder what she was thinking that made her scrunch up her face like that at me more specifically.

" I have no idea what you're talking about" she replied her facial expression showed innocence but the tone said 'to leave it alone' so I did.

Shaking my head I continued to drive ' is it so bad going to the lake or is it my presence that offends you?'

I saw her turn in her seat to watch me "I don't give a shit about the lake but you however have been messing with me on a level that I find quite confusing"

"And what is it that confuses you?

"Well I don't know you and you're just involving yourself in my life"

Tilting my head to the side a bit "is that why your so put out?"

Sighing "well no but the rest is confidential as in 'need to know 'basis an you don't need to know'

'Is that so? Well maybe if you stop acting like an outraged puritan every time I'm near you then you would see that I'm trying to get to know you" keeping my eyes on the road I heard her draw in a breath in outrage for her scent changed from mellow to angry. 

«Now you've gone an done it Venus, have I not taught you to hold your tongue?» Silver chastised me.

"Look here I do not act like an 'outraged puritan' she spat the word out as if it were a curse 'and maybe I don't want you to get to know me, that's why I try my bloody best not to be in your presence longer than needed." 

Raising an eyebrow "You could have fooled me, you think I can't feel when you stare at me when you think I'm not paying attention?" Before she could say anything I held up my hand for silence which made her scent flare as she got more pissed at me.

"I'm trying to give you time, I want to know who you are an you put up these fucking walls that keep everything out but since me being considerate is not working maybe I need to be a lil inconsiderate, but make no mistake I always get what I want, an I love a good chase like any predator I have your scent and I will always be behind you, in front, at the side an boy I can't wait till I'll be on top of you" I said with a smirk that bordered on feral just the thought of chasing her made Silver growl low in my head an out my mouth to low for her ears to hear.

Shifting in my seat I watched Venus I saw her eyes glow silver before she took a deep breath an the were normal again. What the fuck? I think I'm losing my mind an that was when I heard a growl so low I looked into the back to see if there was a animal ooookkkkaaayyyy. Deep breaths 'Teri' its just the stress of everything getting to you, an un-top of everything you're attracted to her for she is telling you what she wants. No-one ever talked to you as such no-one makes your blood warm with just a look and no-one ever took the reins an said 'follow me'. So the control is not in your hands an that is what is scaring you cause on some level you want this but fear of the unknown is making you test how far she's willing to go, 

Last but no way in hell the least the only question that needs to be answered "I've a question"

It was spoken so low if I didn't have excellent hearing I'd have missed it "yeah, what?"

"Is the reason why your so determined to get me based on what happened at Braxton?" I turned to watch her to judge her reaction.

Her face was like stone but her eyes however told a different story 'I only know what I heard through the grapevine but I will tell you now that what ever happened or what ever I've heard has no sway what so ever on my decision to pursue you."
