He was now running. Running as fast as he could. His racoon frantically grabbing hold on the boy's shoulders. He past cells left and right. He past known criminals, thieves, and just some guys he never knew existed. All gave him upset glances, as if saying why is he escaping, and I haven't yet? What makes him so special? Honestly, he didn't care. He wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. He'd be out of here very soon, leaving this wretched prison behind him. But, also, behind him were foot steps- no, foot stomps. That's what the boy decided on, anyway. The foot stomps were very loud. Almost as loud as his heart beat. Though the boy doubted anyone else can hear it, just himself. Maybe his pet too.

"Varian! Get back here!" wow, they just wanna wake up the whole prison, don't they? Varian thought spitfuly. He put one hand on Ruddiger, reasurring that everything will be fine. "We'll lose them," Varian whispered to his little buddy. Eventually. Varian did not dare say that out loud. Ruddiger was already as scared as he could be. No use making it worse.

The guards kept going. The kid's gotten pretty far, considering his conditions. He'd barley been eating in prison. Barely got up from off the ground. Barley slept. Both guards were dumbfounded, yet, they kept going. The kid kept running, and soon, they weren't in Corona anymore. Sure, it did take a while, but they've run far. The guards had worried this would happen. The kid had wanted to get out since the day he was thrown in; who hadn't? But especially this kid. He wanted revenge since day one, and everyone knew he'd probably get it. He was a smart-no, very smart kid. No matter what, he'd figure out how to get his way.

Varian wouldn't stop running. He tried twists and turns. He ran around trees, ran into bushes, but nothing could get rid of these pesky guards! Gosh, was he was upset.

Being outside of Corona, in a place he didn't know, only made it harder. There were no houses to hide behind, unless there was. Varian wouldn't know either way. He didn't know the paths, didn't know if there'd be a dead end or not, didn't know anything. But then, Varian came to an opening. No trees on this area, just grass. Great. Just what I needed. More space to get caught.

He kept running. He had to get out of the open space as quickly as possible. I can't give up now!! Gosh, he wished he had his alchemy; he could've thrown literally anything at them to make them stop. Anything! But he tripped over a rock. "Arghh!" he fell on his leg in an odd way, probably twisting it. Noooo.... he groaned in his mind. Not now. He attempted, but had trouble getting up. Then, the two guards came over and tackled him. Sure didn't help his leg. There was way too much pressure in it. Two grown men, plus a raccoon. But it was also too much for the poor, poor ground. The ground started to shake. The four of them kinda glanced worried looks at one another. Ruddiger quickly, and tightly, held on to Varian. The one guard got up, and motioned for the other. But he looked too scared to actually get up. Get up so I could get up!!! He would have actually said it, but with just one guard on top of him, it still was hard. Instead he laid there, making groaning noises.

-

Why won't he get up!!?? We'll all die if he doesn't get up! Sure, the one guard could have just left, but he couldn't leave his best bud. The ground shook more, and cracks started to form; mostly around the kid and his friend. "NOO!!" The ground had finally given up. The kid and the guard fell through, the other guard following behind. "AAAAAAAAAA-

-

     - AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Then all went black.
