'When the false god banished the dark lord from Heaven,

He had also banished Azazel, the black sheep of the angels.

It is said that only he could go against the Dark Lord's desires without consequences

And that he has desires of his own,

Though he leaves the witches to fulfill the Dark Lord's desires

Azazel's desires are left to torment the mortals of creation for all of time'

Closing her book, Sabrina stared at the cover of it, she had returned home with the book after bumping into a man that was leaving the bookstore and was unable to find him. The book's pages had appeared to be new with only a few pages being covered in scribbles and a single page with a summoning spell. But as she was sitting in her room with the book, more of the pages started to reveal a short story.

"Doing some late night reading, cousin," Someone asked touching her shoulder, startling her.

Turning around, Sabrina saw it was only Ambrose smiling at her.

"Ambrose, you scared me," Sabrina says catching her breath.

"Sorry, so what were you reading?" He asked pointing at the book she was reading but a glance at the cover he knew which book it was. Snatching the book from her hands, Ambrose began flipping through the pages in fascination. "The Black Feather's book? Where did you find this?"

"When I was going to the bookstore with my friends I ran into a guy and saw it was on the ground. What's a black feather's book?" Sabrina asked confused.

"The Black Feather Book. It's one the oldest grimoire/history book of Darkness, cousin," Ambrose explains to her. "I've heard stories of this book. It belongs to The Prince of Hell, so to speak. But the last one has ever found it outside the possession of its Keeper was over a few hundred years ago."

"Holding it is giving me goosebumps," Ambrose says shivering in delight.

"Wait if it belongs to a Prince of Hell, wouldn't he be hellbent on getting it back?" Sabrina questioned worriedly for her family's safety.

"We're completely safe, Sabrina. And it's The Prince of Hell, it's said that he walked away from Hell's royalty," Ambrose educates her. "The Keeper of this book is known for leaving his book in random places when he visits a town or city, then when he leaves the book disappears and returns to his possession."

"So the book will return to him when he leaves," She asked making sure that nothing else will happen.

"One of the many fascinating details of the Black Feather's book. Here's another one," Ambrose held the book to Sabrina and flips through the pages fast revealing a mix between blank and scribbled black pages. "The book is spelled to hide it's very powerful spells from the unworthy."

"Yea, I know that when I opened it. And appears to be a blank book to mortals," Sabrina says recalling how her friends weren't able to see anything in the book.

"Hmm... Some things are better for the mortals not to know about." Ambrose states handing the book back to her. "Anyway, I'd be careful who you show it to. There are many warlocks and witches that would love to get their hands on that book."

"So conceal it? I think I can do that. Thanks, Ambrose," Sabrina says, holding the book to her chest.

"Anytime, cousin." He says leaving the room to the attic/ his bedroom.

Biting her lip, Sabrina looked down at the floor before heading to her own room. On her bed, she started to flip through the pages of the black feather book before Salem jumped onto the bed, startling her.

"Salem... A little heads up before you jump in front of me." Sabrina sighed at her familiar. Salem meowed in return then began to rub his head against his master's hand.

Deep within the forest a small wooden cabin with its chimney emitting smoke, two witches were speaking amongst themselves.

"Have you heard?" A young girl with light dark skin in her teen years asked her friend who was dabbling in dark witchcraft.

"Heard of what, Celeste? There's always something horrific in our community of witches," Her friend states as they drained the blood of a serpent into a mortar and pestle.

"The dark lord called for him. He has never called for the past century."

"Were you spying on people's conversations, again, Celeste?"

"... Maybe..." she says shyly.

"Speaking of our master. Have you seen the book anywhere?"

"No. I think he might have taken it to the mortal world," Celeste said. "I've heard there's a dark baptism going to happen at the end of the month, Nox."

"But not to our coven, so none of our concern," Nox states as they crushed some herbs. "Now help me with this or else this place will continue to smell like Hell."

Just as a little helpful note.

Nox is a non-binary witch but for a more physical description of them. Nox has a very pale, slim male body and short undercut mint hair. Also has a British accent (sorry but you've got to love the accent).

Also for those that are non-binary I'm sorry if I accidentally write he/her, Nox is my first non binary OC that I've every made. So writing the pronouns might be mixed.
