Madison's pov
today's prom day! zach asked me to prom when i was in new york, after the whole thing with rob happened, to forget about him and be happy.
his plane lands at 10 today and it's now 9. we have to be ready for everyone coming to my house by 12:30. we're having a mini graduation party here and then going for pictures downtown with the rest of my grade, then the actual party and maybe an after party.
i go to my hair, makeup and nail appointment, hoping zach's there when i get back.
"don't forget to text me when you're downtown" i say
"i won't " she smiles
we go our separate ways, excitedly getting ready for prom. PROM!!! we've been waiting since middle school to be those cool seniors going to prom.
i get inside and see cameron sitting next to johnny, i look a them confused.
"what-" i start
"zach couldn't make it" johnny says "since i'm bringing someone outside of school, i told her what's happening and i'm taking you now" johnny explains
"what the fuck, why wouldn't zach tell me" i furrow my eyebrows as i take out my phone to text him
"rob has his phone because he didn't know he was coming here for your prom" cameron rolls his eyes
"hey hey! at least you get to go to prom with the one and only" johnny smiles slightly as he stands up
"don't let this ruin your day. stay happy. it's prom mads. you can't be mad" cameron tells me
"what the fuck though. literally that just ruined everything" i groan
"madison" johnny softly says "we planned on going to prom together, at least now it can actually happen" he says
"i know but like-" i sigh before finishing my sentence "it's so annoying" i say
"i know" he says as he sits beside me "please don't let this ruin your prom" he smiles softly
i nod my head and go change into my dress and do the final touch ups, while my brother gets stuff ready for people to come while johnny goes home also.
i play why don't we's knew song, Unbelievable and bop to it. best song. i take a video of me dancing to it in the mirror and post it on my instagram story just to be extra.
i walk down and my brother smiles at me.
"you look beautiful" he smiles
"aw you're complimenting me" i laugh
"today's your day so i might as well" he chuckles
i roll my eyes playfully at him.
"johnnys here so let's get pictures before everyone shows up" he says
we walk outside and johnny stands there and smiles at me also.
"my best friend is gorgeous" he aws
"stop" i laugh as i walk up to him.
we pose for pictures and my family slowly starts arriving. as we're taking the pictures, someone yells from behind us.
