Empty Destination (TaeTee)

Chapter Three

One week later

A viral video went around. It shown from a near distance two figures going into a room drunkenly. Can see one was kissing the other and both are male.

They looked familiar. And everyone knew who they were.

Tae Darvid and Tee Jaruji

Tee went MIA and haven't been attending classes. Only Tae has been getting the terrible comments and backlash.

"What do you think he does with P Tae?"

"Probably they fxxxx"

"Does that mean that they are already a couple? Does it mean my handsome P Tae is gay?"

"P Tae can't be gay"

"That guy sure is smart to not attend classes to avoid all of this. What an ass"

Tae  sighed and tried again to call Tee but couldn't get through.

"Where the hell are you?" Tae said now quite angry with Tee.

Bubble heard about the news and couldn't help but felt sad.

"Honey, are you okay?" he ask

Tae couldn't answer and his mind was still muddled 

"I don't know what to do anymore to make them stop. I'm not sure who took the took the video

"We should find nong Tee" Bubble said 

"I tried. Couldn't find him anywhere.  Tried getting him via call he turned off his phone. I don't know what to do anymore" Tae said feeling guilty

Bubble sighed and said "He really means a lot to you huh honey?" 

Tae's eyes widen and stared into the dark brown eyes of the girl in front of him 

"H-How did you know?" Tae ask

Bubble just smiled and said "I heard you that night. It's alright if you don't want to go through with the wedding but I hope whatever that had happened between you and nong Tee please settle it now"

Tae sighed again "How? I have no idea where he is right now" he said frustrated. 

Bubble shook her head "Have you tried going to his family home, honey?" Bubble hinted.

It took Tae exactly five seconds before there was a ring and he got what she meant. He quickly called his mom and ask for Tee's family number and address and after sending Bubble home, he quickly went to Tee's house. 

He rang the bell and Tee's mae opened the door and was surprised "Oh khun Tae, are you here for Tee?" 

Tae nodded "Sawadee khrap mae. Chai. He haven't been attending classes and couldn't get through via call or text. Is he sick?"

Tee's mae shook her head with a pout "He doesn't seem so. Ever since he came back from the trip he's been locked up in his room.  I don't know what's happening to my son lately. Khun Tae please do something"

Tee's mae was practically begging. Tae knew he must do something

"Alright mae. I will do something" he promised "Excuse me mae" He soon knock on the door and didn't get any reply before he opened the door to find Tee on the bed facing the ceiling. 

Tae went in and soon climbed up the stairs and soon stood in front of a wooden door. He knocked and didn't get any answer so he twist the doorknob and slowly opened the door.

When he peeked in the first thing he saw was a sleeping bulge on the bed and he knew it was Tee.

He went in and managed to closed the door quietly. He took a seat at a chair and waited for Tee to get out from underneath the thick blanket.

Soon he saw Tee sat up groggily and he couldn't help but smile and thought

"He is really cute"

The realised what he just thought and shook his head. Tee then realised his presence

"P'Tae why are you here?" Tee ask

Tae swallows the small LP in his throat and answers"There's a situation about that night....you need to come back"

Tee glare at him "And why is that? To be the laughing stock to the entire university? No, I rather not"

Tae sighed and knew he's right and then he said "I won't let that happen. I will protect you"

Tee couldn't help but roll his eyes and said "It will make the matter worst. Even if you help it's too late now. Everyone will talk about us. Think about your reputation for once, P"

Tae thought about what he said "Then what should we do?"

Tee rubbed his forehead "Just leave it until It all calm down. I will go tomorrow"

Tae let out a sigh of relief "Okay see you tomorrow" He got up and was about to walk out the door when Tee spoke up

"About that night P" Tee suddenly said

Tae turned around and faced a pouting Tee and raised his brow

"Didn't I say, to forget about that night. Whatever that happen already happened and this what gone through about us that night is the after effects of it. We will just act like normal. To me you are only my childhood best friend ai'Tee nothing more, nothing less. Now I got to go. I promised Bubble I will meet her afterwards. See you ai'Tee"Tae said and soon left the room. Left Tee with an emptiness in his heart.

He knew he could never make Tae to love him. He knew it's too late now.

The fresh tears came down as his heart broken in pieces as the love of his life  left his room.

"If this is what you want P then be it" he held the offer letter he received from a university in the US "This will be the last time you will ever see me P"

He knew he had to leave him, leave his family. For his own happiness.

One last time he knew it was worth it.
