Empty Destination (TaeTee)

Chapter Eight

Time froze in place when Tee opened his eyes and at that moment Tae saw it all

"Nong Tee...." Tae said softly with a wide smile

Tee look at him confused and ask "Who are you? Where am I?"

Tae felt like someone struck his heart with a thunderbolt "Tee....don't you recognize me?" Tae said

Tee just shook his head and ask "Do I need to know you khun?"

Tae just said "I am Tae Darvid. I am your childhood best friend and old neighbour. You got involved in a hit and run and was rushed to this hospital and just came out from surgery. I am so glad you are alright. Ah right i will tell our friends as well as your parents"

Tae typed message to his friends and informed them

Tae: Tee is awake. But I think he has amnesia. Will call the doctor to check him

He then proceeded to call Tee's parents

"Sawadee khrap Mae are you with por? Tae said

"Yes I am we are having a meal. What's wrong son? How is you son?"

"He's awake. But he doesn't recognize me I assume he has amnesia. I will call the doctor to check him soon"

"Oh dear. My son...por let's go. Our son is awake!!" Tee's Mae screeches and Tae couldn't help but shake his head. He soon said goodbye and hung up the phone then smiled at Tee

"I will call the doctor to check you okay. Stay still" Tae said and left the room.

Tee was confused why a stranger was telling him to stay put.

"Who is he?" Tee ask himself. He was still confused as he saw the door opened a few minutes later of the stranger by the name Tae with a man with a white coat and Tee knew he was the doctor

"How are you feeling Tee?" Dr Lam asks smiling wide as he examined Tee

"I am OK doctor just have this headache" Tee explained

The doctor then said "We will rub through a cat scan for you and see alright?"

Tee just nodded as well as Tae and soon the doctor smiled and left the room.

Tee took a glance at Tae who was currently pacing outside the room.

Soon the nurses came in the room and brought Tee in a wheelchair and brought him to get the scan.

Tae sat outside the door of Tee's current room and for the first time in years, he tears falling down from his eyes.

He couldn't forget the confused look of Tee when he ask who he was earlier.

He continued on crying and soon left the area.

It was too late now. He will never be remembered, he knew it.

He saw Copter came with Kimmon and moments later Bas who came with Godt who asked

"What did the doctor say?" Kimmon ask

"The doctor told him he will.go through a scan and will determine from there" Tae said

"P....."Bas called him "what happened?"he ask

"He doesn't recognize me. Its OK. This is what I deserve for hurting him. I will go now. Take care of him" Tee said

He soon walked away leaving his four friends.

From the other end, Tee came with as he is being pushed by a nurse

"Au P Kim, nong Bas, Godt and Copter"he said smiling wide.

All four took a quick turn towards him and they were shocked

"Au where is khun Tae?" Tee ask

They were surprised and Bas said "P Tae just left"

Tee just nodded and said "Oh okay" with a smile "let's go in" he continued and soon he got in the room being pushed by the nurse in and he was placed on the bed.

They were talking until Tee asks "So who exactly is P Tae?"

All four became speechless and it was hard to explain to him.

"Well?"he ask

Kimmon then sighed and said "He is just a childhood best friend. He is older than you by four years. That's all we can tell you"

Tee raised his eyebrow "Really? That's it? Then why does he look sad when I ask who he was?" He ask

The four look at each other and then at Tee and Godt answered "He is in love with you"

Tee was surprised "I'm gay? Well he is handsome. But why is he sad? Did I say something wrong?" He ask

Then now it was Copter to answer "He didn't know until that night both of you had a one night stand and he told you to forget about it. That hurt you so much"

"And at that time he was supposed to be married to a girl name Bubble. But in the end, she ended it and now happily married to someone else. You disappeared one day four years ago to the US saying you were going to study until two weeks ago you came back"

"We weren't sure how to say this P but he regretted letting you go" Godt said

It took Tee awhile to swallow all the information down and at that moment the doctor came just as Tee's head started throbbing and he was complaining he was in pain

"make the pain stop!! It hurts so much!" Tee screamed.

Soon the doctor said "Sir please leave the room as we will examine this patient"

They nodded and soon with worried glances look at Tee and left the room.

They knew what they did wasn't smart but it was the one thing they should've done a long time ago.

"We should tell P Tae" Bas said and soon he typed a LINE message to Tae

Bas:P come back to the hospital. P Tee had a seizure

Tae:WHAT?!! I'll be right there! Tell Tee's Mae and por

Bas:OK P.

Copter called Tee's por and informed the parents of the situation

"We were talking about things and he ask about P Tae and we told the whole truth and he suddenly complained he had a major headache.. please come quickly por Mae"

"We are already on the way" his Mae said through the loudspeaker.

Soon they said they goodbye and hung up. Copter nodded to the other three and waited outside the door and saw Tae running like a mad man towards them.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO TEE?!"Tae demanded

And the four gulped and they knew its going to be a long day.
