Empty Destination (TaeTee)

Chapter Eleven

The food came and they ate. From afar the four friends with Tee's parents were watching them and couldn't help but smile.

But they could feel like they could cut the awkwardness with a knife.

"Uh....how are you feeling nong?"Tae ask first

Tee just smiled and said "I'm okay now P. Thank you. They say I will have to go through physiotherapy soon"

Tae just nodded "Oh okay" Tae answered and it was silence again as they continued eating their meal

Then at that moment Tee ask that caught Tae off guard "Did something that happened four years ago cause us to ruin our friendship P?"

Tae stopped cutting the food and look at Tee in the eyes and answered "No. It was my own fault. You did nothing wrong. What I did after that night was my fault"

Tee felt there was something else that happened that made him restrain from telling him.

Tee knew he will investigate what was missing. Be will find out soon enough. 

Soon the both of them already finished their food and it was Tae who paid for their meal despite Tae said that he can pay for the meal.

"I could pay for it P. At least a little bit of it" Tee said

"Its alright. This is for the times I missed to pay for you for the past four years" Tae answered

"Really P?" Tee said

Tae just put his wallet back in the pocket of his jeans and soon said "Come on nong I'll bring you home"

"Uh its okay khrap P I can go home myself or I ask my por to come and get me" Tee said

"Don't be stubborn. I can bring you back. Let's go" Tae said and soon got up. Tee followed him to where he parked his car and got in.

Soon they were on the way. It was quiet. Too awkward to say anything.

Soon Tae parked right in front of Tee's parents house and turned to Tee "See you nong" he said coldly

"See you. Thank for bringing me home" Tee said and opened the door and soon as he closed the car door Tee's car zoomed off leaving Tee feeling sad.

He slowly walked inside and lo and behold his parents were waiting for him in the living room.

"I'm home" Tee said

"Son how was the gathering?" His Mae ask

"There was no gathering Mae. The rest couldn't come so it's just me and P Tae. It was awkward" Tee said
Both parents look at each other and then at Tee who was now already at the bottom of the stairs

"I'm going to be in my room now mae por" Tee said and soon he climbed the flight of staircase to his room.

He changed his clothes and laid on the bed thinking of what had occurred earlier.

He could tell something was odd. Like something Tae was hiding.

"What else did I forgot?" He ask himself.

He remembered about the day the friends told about himself and P Tae before he had that headache

He went through his LINE message and saw an old chatroom.

Tee: I don't think he knows how serious he was when that night happened P

Kimmon:I'm sure he doesn't realise it but be patient. He'll come around

Bas: Yeah P Tee I know P Tae. He will be realising it soon enough

Copter:And I predict when that happens he will lose the one thing that's most important to him

Godt:just stay calm and if you need our help we'll be here for you P

Tee:Thanks guys

Kimmon:au don't be all mushy. That's not the Tee we know

Tee:ha ha ha very funny P Kim.

Tee couldn't help but think that his friends were right, P Tae did lose something important.

"But why is he acting so awkward to me like that?" He thought to himself.

The next day his friends sent him a message in the group chat

Kimmon:Oi ai Tee what happened to the meal with P Tae?

Tee: this was all your plan wasn't it?

Copter:you caught us P. But it was okay right?

Tee:it was... awkward to say the least

Godt:au..why? Did something really weird happened?

Tee:No. Just there was nothing to talk about and he was hiding something from me I don't know what

Bas:don't worry P. I'm sure he will open up to you soon enough like he always do.

Tee:I hope so. I'm really trying to figure him out earlier.

Kimmon:don't worry ai'Tee I'm sure it will come to terms with you soon. Rest na

Copter:yeah P Tee. Rest. Tomorrow we will bring you someplace to refresh your memories

Tee: where?

Godt: Someplace. We will call you  tomorrow.

Tee:Okay

Bas:Night P

Tee:Night

Soon Tee laid in bed and soon he thought of the conversation he had earlier with P Tae.

"What are you trying to hide from me to act this way? I don't remember what happened...."he mumbled and soon he closed his eyes and falls in a deep sleep until his mae called him down from dinner.

During dinner he was still as silence like earlier when he came back. He was thinking of why P Tee was acting this way that he doesn't hear his mae call for him until she tap his shoulder 

"Son are you alright?" His mae ask now full of concern for her son

Tee's thoughts were broken and he just look at his parents and he just smiled "I'm sorry. I was thinking of something. What were you saying mae?"he ask

"I was asking are you alright?" She ask and Tee just smiled

"I'm alright mae" Tee said

His mae doest believe him but jut said "alright. Finish eating and go up and rest na" she said and Tee nodded

"Okay mae" Tee said and finished his meal.

After dinner despite his Mae's protest he helped cleaned up and ended up hugging her.

"what's wrong son?" She ask

"I don't know mae. Just feel like hugging my beautiful mae" Tee said

His mae just smiled and said "Such a sweet talker. Go up and rest son"

Tee just smiled and said "Okay mae" he soon gave her a peck on her cheek and soon climbed the stairs to his room.

He sat by the side of the. He thought of the conversation he had earlier and also the old chat he had with his friends.

He soon laid on his bed and soon finally got some sleep.

But that night he had a dream. A very odd dream.

What will happen when it will lead to more confusion and more things being unsettled?
