Don't look back go straight they say.
Tearing every fiber of my body away.
The fear of no return is clinging to my waist.
Please don't make me do this I sob and pray.
The voice of a child is recorded and played.
Locked in a room my mind goes blank.
The little girl starts to laugh and play.
Repeating the same lyrics over again.
"Lonely lonely lonely ways
Down the river, we'll go sway"
At first I didn't understand what she meant.
Her word were clear yet still a mess.
But before long I understood her request.
I slowly walked towards her and reached out my hand.
She smiled at the sight and began to rant.
Chant after chants it seemed like it wouldn't end.
But after an hour I see she's gone.
my mind settles down.
And I began to talk.
Everything seemed normal till I tried to stand.
My knee wouldn't work.
And my limb started to swell.
I yelled out help but no one respond.
I tried to crawl, but my hips were gone.
I tried to cry, but my eyes went blind.
And soon enough, I was on the ground paralyzed.
