April, Saturday: Mai's POV
Mai:
Ayako got up from the chair she was sitting in. "This is ridiculous! I'm going to clear this place out when I get back." Ayako goes to leave. Before she could walk through the doors Kuroda appeared. "I wouldn't be so confident in your abilities. The ghosts here are very strong." Ayako steps back a little. "Kuroda? What are doing here?" I ask. Ayako pushes Kuroda to the side and walks out (Grouchy much?).
I run over to help Kuroda as she slides down the doorway she was just pushed into. Maiko comes over and stands by me who is now crouched down on the floor with Kuroda. I ask "Are you okay Kuroda?" Kuroda looks up and says "One of the spirits attacked me." Everyone's mouths gape open, except Maiko and Naru, upon hearing this. Kuroda continued on. "It's true. I was walking when my hair was pulled back with amazing force. When I tried to flee it stared strangling me. It said 'You're interfering psychic. Leave or die.'" "When did this happen?" Naru asked nonchalantly. A few minutes ago in the second floor hallway." "That's not true! There are no spirits here." Masako said. "Yes there are! There definitely are! And they're angry!" Kuroda retorts. Naru interrupts their argument "You said it was the second floor hallway, right?" Naru turns around to his computer and monitors. He rewinds everything to a few moments before Kuroda said she was attacked.
Everyone watched as Kuroda walks through the schoolhouse on the monitors. From the front door, up the stairs. But, right before she could turn to go down the second floor hallway the camera suddenly went static. "What happened? Is the camera broken?" I asked a little spooked. I could feel Maiko holding back a chuckle. I turned back to her and glared. She just shrugged.
Maiko:
After Mai sighed in defeat we both turned back when Naru said "No. The camera's not broken but it is quite strange. When a spirit becomes active electronic equipment will often malfunction. But here I'm not sure. Is it..a spirit or EM interference?" "It's quite obviously a spirit. Interference doesn't cause someone to be attacked." Kuroda said. "But Masako said their weren't any spirits." Mai said. "Well lets just say I am a little suspicious...about her." Kuroda said turning her head back to look at Masako with a glare.
"How would you know? Kuroda you've been going on and on about ghosts for years and never had any solid proof. And before you say anything the video shows that it's missing a piece of it's feed. It does not prove that you were attacked." I said. Everyone took a suspicious look to Kuroda. She just glared at me. "You can glare at me all you want it still doesn't prove your claims." "And what do you know, huh!? It's not like you're psychic!" "Maybe not but I do read a lot of books on psychics and their abilities. Everyone knows that. And it STILL doesn't support you're claims." Naru chimed in saying "It's common for female mediums to either be completely right or way off base. If what you say is true then the spirit is very in tune with you're wavelengths, and Miss. Hara just can't sense anything right now." "Yes. That's right." Kuroda said slighly smiling.
Mai and Maiko Mind Link:
'If that's the case, then is all this our fault? Did us telling ghost stories actually summon a spirit here?' Mai thought with a frightened look on her face. 'Of course not. Kuroda was just trying to get your attention. There is no way telling ghost stories will summon a spirit.'

LATER THAT DAY: MAI'S POV:
"I stand here today to beseech the gods. I call upon them to descend from the heavens and join us where no gods dwell to end this ceaseless suffering. I ask that my humble plea may be heard to reclaim peace to the spirits trapped in this haunted place." Ayako says performing some sort of ritual in the school hallway with many window along the left side of the wall.
