Fallen Protector - A Ninjago Fanfic

Chapter 1

Zana waited on the black leather couch watching TV. Her mother was in the kitchen. She was watching Batman the Animated Series. She hoped she would get the DC realm, but she needed to know if she got in the school first. The doorbell rang she ran to the door getting there before her mother.

She opened the door and looked at the big yellow envelope the mailman was holding, "Is this the house of Zana-" She grabbed the letter and closed the door. She went to the kitchen table and sat down looking at the letter."Mom, it's here!"

She opened the letter carefully. There was a folded piece of paper and a badge. It was an acceptance letter and the badge was blank. "Poptart," Said her mother, (Poptart was the name her family gave her) "Is it supposed to be like that?"

"N-no." She saw another paper and read it;

'This badge will change depending on what realm you get. You are supposed to wear it at all times in school on your right side. DO NOT wear it in your realm or anywhere else. Congratulations.'

Zana didn't waste any time she started packing her clothes. Her mother came in confused, "What are you doing Poptart?"

She looked at her mother, "We will be living in dorms. It will be me and another person in one dorm."

"My baby is growing up so fast! Don't get to close to boys."

Zana rolled her eyes, "Okay...I won't"

-The Next Day-

Zana waked up and got ready as fast as she could; combing her brunette hair and looking at her baby blue eyes. She ran downstairs with her galaxy blue suitcase. "Bye mom!"

Zana waited for the bus to come; it was a luxury bus. She got on and found an empty seat by a boy; he had ruffled black hair and red eyes. She sat down and started talking to him, "So are you excited?"

He turned to look to her, "Sure. Anything to get away from home makes me happy." She noticed scars on both his arms. "What's that?" She pointed to his scars. He looked down and pulled his sleeves over them, "Nothing."

-Skip forward 2 hours-

"Wow." Zana looked up at the school. There were a big campus and no houses around. A young woman walked out, "Hello and welcome! My name is Ann! Follow me, I'll take you guys to the auditorium."

Zana's suitcase was taken from her and she followed the woman. The woman took them to the auditorium and sat them down in chairs on the stage. The teacher walked up the stage, "Welcome to Realm School. I will be calling your names and realms you get."

"First..." Zana spaced out. "Luna! come up you have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle realm. Keith! Power Ranger realm. Elizabeth! Marvel Realm" Zana noticed their badges changing to represent their realm, she also noticed the got a necklace with a piece of a realm crystal. "Raphael! DC realm. Zachary! SCP realm. Zana! Ninjago realm."

Zana took to necklace and walked back disappointed that she didn't get DC. She didn't pay attention to all the people clapping, she didn't even know what Ninjago was. The teacher spoke, "We will give you files that will give you some information about your realm."

-Skip forward 30 minutes-

"Well, this is my room." Zana looked at room B6. She put her ID on the ID scanner and the door unlocked. She walked inside there were two girls there, they were playing go-fish. "Hi...I'm Zana."

The girl with dirty blonde hair and blue-green eyes spoke, "Hi I'm Luna and this is Elizabeth." Elizabeth had very dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. Luna spoke, "So sit down," Zana sat down, "So I got the TMNT realm which is cool and Elizabeth got the Marvel realm which is awesome. What realm did you get?"

She looked down upset, "Ninjago."

Luna's eyes widened, "Whoa that's one of the coolest realms. They say that's the only realm that has a realm crystal too...not including our realm, of course, we obviously have one."

"Here." Elizabeth gave Zana some cards, "You can play with us."

"Thanks!" Zana smiled, feeling better about her realm.

-Skip forward 2 weeks-

By now Zana made friends; Luna and Elizabeth. The school had a big party last night for the new Realm Masters but she didn't feel like going. "Zana." Elizabeth was standing outside her dorm door. "Come on we are going to our realms." She ran outside to her and they both ran down the halls. There was a staff member, "Hey no running in the halls!" They didn't listen and kept running while laughing.

They reached the auditorium and sat down on the chairs in the audience. The teacher started speaking, "Now today's the big day. You all had a big party yesterday. Your necklaces have a piece of a realm crystal. I will call you up and you will open your realm yourself...don't over do it just think about opening it...you will come back yourself. Alright first..."

Just like the last order; Zana was called after her friends where called. Elizabeth wouldn't stop talking about Doctor Strange. For once Zana was really excited even though she didn't like the realm at first.

When her name was called she could barely wait. She opened the realm and went inside.
