Chapter 3 (Kinda Long)

"'Sign me up!' Way to go, spark plug." yelled Jay. The ninjas were pulling the horse carriage while Sensei Wu has sat on the top, and Zana walked on the side. 

"I sense this is some strange form of... team-building," said Zane.

"Yeah probably, since you guys didn't get along last night." added Zana.

"Whatever. Just keep pulling. We have a long way to go." said Cole.

"So how did Sensei find you guys?"

Cole spoke, "I was testing my limits and he was there drinking tea."

Jay followed, "I was testing my invention. I did end up crashing but it was pretty cool! And he was there drinking tea."

"I was testing myself and he was there drinking tea." said Zane.

"You're right. If it weren't for Sensei, none of us would-"

Sensei Wu cut Kai off, "Shh...stop! The Caves of Despair. Samukai must be close to unearthing the Scythe of Quakes. Remember, do not use the weapon. For its power-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, is too much for us mortals. Alright, guys. Let's chop-socky this lemonade stand! Cole, you got the plan?" said Jay.

The ninja quickly hide behind a rock while Zana and Sensei watched as Cole came up with a plan. "You're not from here." Zana quickly turned to face Sensei Wu.

"What?" Zana looked confused.

"That necklace...it's a piece of a realm crystal." Zana clutched her necklace. "You're from another realm. You can fight...if you want you can go help them."

Zana grinned and noticed the ninjas where gone. When she looked into the canon she saw that they were holding the map. She made her way down and hide behind the rocks quietly moving to the ninjas. She saw they went into a cave and quickly ran behind. After a while, they reached the Scythe of Quakes which was in a statue of a dragon. 

 "Wow! That is so cool!" Zana heard Jay's voice echo through the caves.

"Shh..." Cole pulled out the scythe and wrapped it in a cloth, "Not so loud."

"Come on, don't be paranoid! We're totally on the opposite side of the caves."

"Zip it okay?" Cole tossed the scythe to Kai. "Now that we got the Scythe, let's sneak out while those boneheads are still busy."

Zana turned around to leave so she wouldn't be noticed by the ninjas. As soon as she did she smacked into a Skulkin and let out a scream. She heard footsteps behind her as she had given away her location. The Skulkin reached out to grab her, but she was pulled back by someone. 

She looked up and smiled, "Kai!" 

Samukai pulled out his daggers and the ninjas raised their weapons and rushed in. Zana slowly stepped back and watched from behind a wall. Zane noticed that Kai was surrounded, "Kai! toss it here!"

"Going long!" yelled Cole. Zane tossed the scythe to Cole.

"Hey, guys!" yelled Jay, "It's just like the training course! Over the planks, dodge the swords, here comes the dummy! Cha-ching!" Zana's eyes widened as she saw Jay get surrounded by a blue tornado of electricity.

Kai noticed it too, "Spinjitzu... Jay! What's the key?!"

Jay laughed, "I'm just going through the motions! This is what Sensei must have meant when he said we already know it!"

"Over the planks, dodge the swords, here comes the dummy!" Kai is soon surrounded in his own fiery red tornado.

Kruncha laughed at looked at Nuckal, "He called you a dummy!"
