Chapter 1

Lauren's POV

The wind was blowing through my hair as I rode my Penny Board to school the summer had come and gone but I'm a senior now so I don't really care as I'm coming to the end of my block I see a moving van guess I'm gonna have a new neighbor

I completely stop when I see this beautiful girl struggling to carry some box  yes I like girls and this girl is most definitely my type she was wearing black high waisted shorts and a white "the 1975" band tee shirt and some Chuck Taylors  that's it I like her already so I cross the street to help out "hey do you need some help ?" I ask her she turns to me and blushes I take the box from her hands and she leads me inside her house

Her house isn't much different than mine their actually pretty much alike "you could set that down here " she says pointing to the living room area I nod set it down and turn back to her "I'm sorry I didn't Introduce myself I'm Lauren Jauregui I live a couple houses up from you " I say sticking out my hand she takes I swear I felt electricity run through my arm  "I'm Camila Cabello I'm from  L.A and just recently moved to Miami " she says with smile

"Well Camila would you be attending Miami High School?" I ask her "yeah I start today " she says "you nervous?" I ask her she nods "maybe I could show you around after school or something?" I say hopefully "I'd love that " she says "Mila are you ready for school?" A women I'm guessing Camila's mother asked as she walked out if their Kitchen

"Lauren this my mom Sinu " Camila says "nice to meet you Mrs.Cabello " I say "oh please sweetie call me Sinu Mrs.Cabello makes me feel old" she says I giggle "sure thing Sinu " I say "would you like a ride ?" She asks me "oh no thank you I ride my Skateboard to school but thanks for the offer " I say

"you skate too " Sinu says "well maybe you two could skate to school together " sinu continues " do you wanna ?" I ask Camila "Yeah Sure Just let me get my stuff " Camila says and walks away "so Lauren can you do me favor?" Sinu asks me "um sure what's up?" I say "I know you just met her and well us but do you mind looking after her she had a horrible time in school back in L.A " sinu ask me she looked like she was about to cry "don't worry about it I'll introduce her to my friends they'll love her" I say just then Camila comes back with her longboard "your board is awesome you have to let me ride it sometime " I say "maybe " she says we say goodbye to her mom and ride to school ...

Camila's POV

I'm fucking dying I'm so nervous what if people don't like me ? "Hey take a breath you'll be fine " Lauren says I don't know why but I trust her for some unknown reason so I do as she says and we walk into Miami High

I felt as if everyone was watching and I guess Lauren noticed so she put her arm around my shoulder bringing me closer to her instantly calming me down "you'll be fine "  she whispers to me and leads me to the office "hey  Jauregui what can I help you with?" The lady from the office says "good morning Miss Lovato this Is Camila she's the new student this year" she says "oh yes Cabello right ?" She says looking at me "yes ma'am" I say "oh call me Lovato " she says I simply nod my head and she hands me my schedule

"have a great first day Camila we're glad you're here" Miss Lovato says and I give her a friendly smile and we walk out and Lauren gets attacked by a group of girls two tall ones and a shorty "LoLo we've missed you!" They say "okay guys I love you too and I missed you too but can you guys get off of me ?" Lauren says getting out of her friends grip

"Good now I want to introduce you to Camila she's from L.A. " Lauren says the tallest out of the group came up to me "hmm I'm gonna call you Mila " she says "wait I met her first so I get to give her, her nickname" lauren says crossing her arms over her chest like a child who didn't get the toy she wanted

I giggle at her cuteness  "no Lauren you gave ally her nickname so it's mine turn!" The tall girl says "I'm Dinah Jane" she says turing to me "hi " I said feeling shy once again "and I'm Ally but you could call me Allycat" the short one says with a cute smile "that's a cute name " I say she smiles and blushes "I'm Normani but you could call me mani or manibear " she says "it's nice to meet all of you " I say

"Come on class is about to start let's see where you need to go " Lauren says taking my schedule "awesome! we have every class together " she says I smile thank god !  We walk to class and say bye to the rest of the girls and make plans for lunch...

Lauren's POV  Lunch Time

As Camila and I walk to her locker I take her books out of her hands and smile at her we've gotten to get know each other and I really like her she's funny , smart , dorky , and she loves to skate she's seriously my dream girl I wanna ask her out there's this fair that's open until next week and I wanna take her it used to be my favorite place when I was a kid

"Oh look guys the new girl " says Rachel  the head cheerleader and girlfriend to my sister  Quinn the Quarterback of the football team "back off Rachel she's cool " I say "oh really Jauregui who said so?" Rachel says " I did so you better fuck off before I tell Quinn you're fucking with me again" I say Quinn is my older sister and she hates it when Rachel messes with me and my friends

"Rach babe come on don't mess with Lauren's friends" my sister Quinn says coming down the hall "I'm sorry baby " she says kissing Quinn's cheek "hi I'm Quinn " Quinn says sticking out her hand to Camila " hi I'm Camila " she says taking her hand "it's nice to meet you Camila I hope my Rach here didn't hurt your feelings " she says "not at all Lauren here was defending me" she says looking at me and I grin

Quinn turns to me smiling with her eyebrow raised "well we gotta go " I say as Camila closes her locker and I take her hand and lead to the cafeteria "your sister is nice" Camila says I nod "yeah " I say as we get our lunch and sit with the girls "where were you guys?" Ally says

"We had a little run in with Rachel but everything is all good Quinn came and saved the day " I say and we eat our lunch and having small talk ...

Camila's POV 

school is finally over , Lauren and I are on our way back to my house "you wanna come inside?" I ask hopefully I really like her I've never been interested in other girls before but she is absolutely perfect and I can't help myself "sure" she says smiling

I grin to myself and open the door my parents aren't home apparently "you wanna go down to the den it's probably the only place that has somewhere to sit and the tv " I say seeing that my parents left while they were unpacking

We get downstairs and I see that my dad built my skating ramps "no way" lauren says as her jaw drops  "you like?" I ask smirking " like? Try love " she says "can I ?" She asked "of course by all means looks like my dad put my skateboards " I say pointing to the opposite end of the wall "Camila" she says " yeah Lauren " I say she turns to me "will you marry me like seriously where have you been all my life "  she says giggling I blush and laugh with her

We grab some boards and start skating I think I'm gonna like Miami ...
