MISTY'S POV*

After I had read Mitchel's lyrics, I was feeling sure about my decision to try to get him back. I wanted this to happen more than anything. I had missed him so bad, and I was hoping he was feeling the same way.

Gates had planned on going to an amusement park with the boys, and I was going to show up there as well.

I was so nervous about it, I didn't know how Mitchel would react, and if he would want to even hang out with me, but one of the most famous quotes says "If you never try, you'll never know" and I was going to turn it into my new motto.

I parked my car in the big parking lot and looked myself in the rear-view mirror, I let out a heavy sigh.
"You got this garl!" I said to myself.
"Who am I kidding? I'm a fookin chicken." I leaned my head on the steering wheel.

"Okay.. Perhaps I can boost my confidence by listening to a powerful song." I continued talking to myself, and put on 'Don't stop me now' by Queen.

I turned on the volume and started screaming the lyrics and dancing in the car.

I heard a knock on my window and I shrieked.

I rolled down my window and looked at the person that was standing on the other side of it.

"Um.. Excuse me miss.. Are you okay?" a lady asked.

"Yeah.. Totally fine!" I quickly responded.

"Oh.. I'm sorry, I just thought.. I'm sorry." she said and I raised my eyebrow.

"No, I'm okay! I am trying to loosen up." I said.

"Oh. Good, have a nice day." the woman awkwardly spoke and walked away.

"Why do they always make me feel like I'm the weird one, when it's obvious that they are way weirder than me?" I asked my reflection in the mirror.

That's when I received a new text and I looked down at my phone's screen.

I opened my door and got out, I locked my car and started walking towards the entrance of the funfair.

Some minutes later I spotted the four of them and I hesitantly walked towards them.

"Misty! Misty?" Christian said and looked confused, all of them turned around and stared at me.

"Hi guys!" I quietly spoke.

"Oh, hey bestie!" Gates said and came to hug me.

I nervously glanced at Mitchel and I met his gaze.

"Hey Misty!" he said and I shyly smiled at him.

"Wow.. You two are so awkward.. I love it!" Clinton shouted, and Christian punched his arm.

"Um..How are you guys?" I asked.

"We were about to go on that huge roller coaster!!!" Christian excitedly said.
