"Hey Alex." Allison said popping into his office

"Yes my dear?" Alex asked glancing up at Allison over the top of his thick rimmed glasses; he was finishing up a report from a surgery on a black lab before heading home.

"Are you okay to lock up? I know Thursday is my turn, but I have a yoga class today and my instructor was nice enough to pick me up, but she had to get me early. I can cancel if you want me to." Allison explained, playing with the hem on her bright green dog bone printed scrub shirt.

"Nah, go on. I've got it under control, but before you go, I do need you to call this lady and let her know that Rex is doing just fine and can go home tomorrow." Alex replied, handing her over the file he had been working on as he stood up from his desk.

"Yeah sure and thanks, Alex I owe you!" Allison said taking the file and heading for the front desk to use the phone.

Gathering his belongings, Alex left his office, carefully shutting the door and making sure it was locked as he walked into the main lobby of the clinic. Allison was sitting at her desk, talking on the phone to who Alex assumed was the lady he had asked her to call. Jack was still in his office doing god knows what. Outside, Alex noticed a green car pull into the parking lot and stop. Clearly they were closed, so he assumed the person in the car must be Allison's ride.

Unlocking the door, he poked his head out to see a familiar blond walking toward him and the door. Waving, Dez Jackson smiled at him sweetly.

"Hello Dr. Gaskarth." She greeted him, pushing her sunglasses up on top of her head.

"Hello." Alex replied, still standing holding the large glass door open. "And how can I help you today?"

"I'm here to pick up Allison. She said her car broke tough luck." Dez replied with a shrug. "Is she done yet?"

"Yeah, I just have her calling a patient for me and then she is all yours." Alex smiled, taking a sweeping glance over the blond. "So a yoga instructor huh?"

"Yeah, Kamdyn and I own a yoga studio downtown together. The farm is just sort of a hobby." Dez explained.

"Interesting." Alex mused thinking it over.

Kamdyn Bryant seemed way too tense and had way too much attitude to be all zen and calm. The idea of her in those tight pants and tank tops that yoga people wore was pretty nice though.

"Hey Dez, I hope I didn't make you wait too long." Allison said appearing at the door, her bags in tow.

"Not at all." Dez shook her head and smiled.

"Oh, Rex will be picked up around ten thirty tomorrow morning." Allison informed Alex briefly before stepping out into the afternoon sun.

"Thanks sweetie. Have a good night, you two!" Alex called behind them, waving as they got into Dez's car.

"Who was that?" Jack asked joining his best friend at the door, his brief case in one hand and Alex's in the other.

"Dez Jackson. She's Allison's yoga instructor." Alex explained taking his brief case from Jack before locking up.

"She's hot." Jack commented with a shrug. "Anyway, you're on your own tonight. I have a meeting with my lawyer about Cassadee's latest scheme to get more money out of me. Jesus, how much does she think I make anyway? I am not a rich man, Alexander!" Jack rambled on.
