Part 2: Stay away from me

Trevor's POV

I woke up at like 6 in the morning because of my alarm. It was sunday and that means that my dad and Rowan's mom was leaving soon. I told Brandon yesterday about them getting married and them leaving to visit our grandparents. To be honest, Rowan's mom isn't as bad as I thought.  She's really nice to me and I can see how much my dad lov..yeah you know.

I could tell that they were not leaving quite yet so I took my guitar and started playing a song i've been working on

"dude. shut up! I'm trying to sleep" Brandon groaned from the floor where he was sleeping. He was always sleeping here. I looked around in my room and found it really messy. Dishes and food were all over the floor. And Brandon clothes in a corner. That dude always throws his shirt to that corner and then sleeps. He was shirtless now so I guessed he had another shirt laying in that corner from yesterday

I ignored him and kept playing. He took his pillow and spun it around his head and groaned again.

I heard a knock on the door and expected my dad walking in. But instead it was Rowan. Her hair was messy and bags were under her eyes.

"dude it's 6 am oh my god" she said

"don't act like you don't talk to Elisia like 5 in the morning" I said back

"shut up. Ughhh i'm too tired to argue" she said groaning

"Then go to sleep" I said smiling

"I would if you shut up" she said

"you look like shit" I said to annoy her

"Trevor I am about to fall asleep on your floor so do not tease me now" she said while whirling

"But i'm your brother now. It's my job to tease you" I said with a bigger smirk

"hey! The stepsiblings. Can you shut up? i'm trying to sleep" Brandon said trying to get up

"Fine i'll keep it down" I said putting down my guitar.

I looked at Rowan after I didn't get a respond from her and she was of course staring at Brandon who was running a hand through his messy morning hair. He's shirtless and now she's drooling over him. No I need to stop. I'm not allowed to blame Rowan for that. I have to stop with the jealously. They like eachother and I shouldn't get between them with my feelings.

I really need alcohol at this moment. Alcohol has always been my solution to these feelings. But this is the most important promise I made for Rowan after that mental breakdown in the bathroom. And for some reason I don't want to hurt Rowan. She's literally the only reason i'm not sitting here drunk as hell. She really showed me that she cares about me in the bathroom and i'm not letting her down

"ugh I can't sleep anymore. Thank you for that" Brandon said and he was now sitting up

"Rowan why are you gonna sleep? Our parents are leaving soon" I said

"well I was planning on waking up to that alarm and not to your guitar" she said pointing at her phone which was in her hand ringing

"ahhhh" Brandon groaned and snatched the phone out of her hands to close the alarm

" I hate that noise" he explained when Rowan gave him a question mark

"woah. I didn't realize how hot you were" he said smirking. I sighed

"And I didn't ask you " she said

"ouch. That would hurt but i'm hotter than you both together so back off" he said pointing at me and Rowan
