Chapter 6

I opened the door to see James , and Aiden
So? Do you have a guitar that's brown and has NTB carved in it asked my oh so favorite cousin James , ummmm...yeah why ?
Because Aiden and Dylan broke it said with and apologetic expression , without thinking I slammed the door in their faces and cried til my eyes were dry it had probably been about 40 minutes I decided to go downstairs and have something to eat . As soon as I reached the foot of the Stairs my eyes went wide and I felt like crying I say shattered pieces of the guitar my mom got me before she died , soon that sadness changed to anger and I stormed pass the boys and went right for the shards of wood to pick them up . I picked up a few and pricked myself when I heard James voice telling me to leave it I'm hurting myself I got up raging mad and shouted I wouldn't have hurt myself if your asshat friend here didn't break the last gift I got from my mom so don't fucking tell me want to do you worthles- before I could finish a hand was placed over my mouth to shut me up I wasn't done so I bite the person's hand and left slamming the front door behind me .

I walked and walked til I found myself at a beautiful lake I stayed there for a few hours until I got tired so I decided to go home I called Kenna to pick me up at the mall near luckily she was at the ice cream shop not too far from here so I didn't have to wait long . In less than five minutes she was here , as I entered the car she asked if I was okay because I looked like something was bothering me I nodded and told her what happened
How could they have been so reckless especially James am disappointed in him she said
Don't worry about it ,it's fine it's just that I was upset
The rest of the car ride was Kenna trying to invite me to a party at this Kid wills house I soon got tired of her and agreed .

At home

As soon as I opened the door I saw James ,Dylan and Aiden with a few other boys from school .

Where were you James practically screamed at me

Somewhere far from him I said as I pointed to Aiden
and don't shout at me your not my dad I said as I made my way to the kitchen grabbed a cup of water and a snack and went to my room and slammed the door .

James P.O.V

We were discussing the new game plan we had set up then all of a sudden we heard a loud crash from the living room I rushed there to see shattered pieces of board and Dylan on the floor and Aiden with whatever leftovers of the guitar he broke . I soon realized that the guitar didn't belong to anyone else but Becca so I went up to her room with Dylan and Aiden behind me ,I knocked on her door she opened it while letting out an irritant what .

So? Do you have a guitar that's brown and has NTB carved in it ? I asked

Ummmmm... yeah why?

Because Dylan and Aiden broke it ....
I saw her face drop she looked angry and tbh I have never seen this child angry I turned to Dylan and Aiden giving them the looks that said you two crossed the line

After that she stormed out Aiden tried to after her but I held him back reminding him that she'll need her space

Aiden's P.O.V

Standing over Dylan with whatever leftover of the guitar I just broke , I felt sorry for him he had a bruise on his leg, one on his face and his arm

Then James rushed in at first I saw anger in his eyes then once he noticed the guitar it changed to shock and sadness

He said Aiden why ? Just why ? Do you know what you have done I knew you were irresponsible but not this irresponsible,and don't even think about tell me it can be replaced cause it can't Becca's mom gave that to her before she died and now you broke it Aiden !!!you broke it !!! She's gonna be freaked when she finds out .

Or we could tell her now and it would be less worse he said as he motioned for me to follow him I hesitantly followed him

He knocked and the door swung open followed by an irritated WHAT

James told her about the guitar she looked at me with pure hatred my heart felt like it was shattered for some reason

She stormed off and I attempted to follow her but James stopped me

*****time skip

She came home about five Dylan and I were still there I was here to apologize but what she said to James made me want to break then again I was in no position to speak just look at her for heavens sake she looks like a mess her eyes red and puffy her clothes messed up with ice cream and before I could say something she was in her room again
