Chapter 14

Becca's P. O. V

Gas...

That's all I smelt , I hurried opened the car door and got out I went to the front seat to see if I got get James to wake up.

"James " I shook his arm when he didn't wake up I did the only thing that came to mind, I slapped him hard in the face with that he jumped up .

"James ,we need to get them out the car like now ."

"But I'm in bed not ready to get up yet "he slurred

"Look around you your not at home your in a car now get out and help ".

James  crawled out the car opened the front door and pulled Aiden out and began sauntering off while he had Aiden leaned on his shoulder.

"James " I called "what about Lucas ?" I asked

"Oh let him stay it's not like he's any good "he said and continued.

I walked over to the back seat and used all the strength I didn't know I had to pull him out . When I got him out I pulled him as far away from the car as I could ,put him on the grass and tried to wake him .

After five long minutes I ended up calling the police ,and as soon as I hung up I heard a loud boom .
Lucky we were far enough from the car to not get hurt.
I sat on the ground beside Lucas ,put his head on my lap and stroked his hair .

"Lucas " I whispered trying to see if he would wake up ,but he wouldn't wake up so I did the smartest thing to do in this situation.i checked his pulse , it was okay ,but it does sum up that he's unconscious.

Soon enough the ambulance came , took Lucas  and I hopped in the back of the truck too ,because his brother well his brother's bestfriend left him die .

Two hours later ...

Two boring hours later he woke up . I even told him that James literally left him to die ,he would have if it wasn't for me.

"Hey um...where is Aiden ?"

"To be honest I don't know .He left with James and I didn't see them after that ."

"Where am I gonna go..."
He trailed off.

"I could take you to my place call my friend and have her take you to his well your house too I guess ."

" Are you sure you wanna help me because if you don't it's fine , I could call my mom and she'll deal with this -"

"It's fine , I want to help " I cut him off

"Oh yeah ,I should go call the doctor ." I said getting up .

"I walked to the door ready to open it but it was already opened , I looked up to see the doctor Ma.Yales I guess ,I can't remember but yep ."

••••• So the doctor checked him and said he was good to go ,we're currently waking to the bus stop .

"Thank you " he said as we got on the bus

"What for ?"

"If it weren't for you I'd probably would've died in a car , so thank you "

"No problem, it's an honor its not everyday you save someone's life right " I joked

"Well this is our stop " I said getting up he followed suite .

We walked to my house in a comfortable silence with a little small talk once or twice .

When we got to the door we heard shouting and I was dead sure that was my aunt...
