Chapter 5: New Members

It was the afternoon, Ren already explained to his father about why he came home so late. Ren looked at the time and it was 9 PM.
"Geez.. were we really in that strange place for such a long time?" Ren questions to himself as he lays down on the couch falling asleep.

Ren falls asleep soundly, possibly snoring a little. In a dream, he wakes up looking at his surroundings. He was trapped in a jail cell. Using his instincts, he tries to get up and run however, he tripped noticing his right leg was attached to the wall. He also had his hands chained together as well, limiting his movement. He saw other jail cells surrounding a fancy table with stacked papers and a chair where someone was watching him.
"My my, someone seems impatient..." A mysterious male figure sits on the fancy chair that was well fit for a prince. The mysterious figure had a mask on to completely cover his face. He wears a classy black tie and suit, his pants matching the color of his tie. He wears a shiny pair of black shoes that reflected the light, shoes that most people would wear to work. Ren became furious, wondering why he was trapped in a jail cell again. He immediately gets up and holds a grip to the cell and pushed trying to release himself.
"Let me out!" Ren demands to the mysterious figure as it doesn't respond. The mysterious figure snaps his fingers as the cell electrocuted Ren. Thankfully it wasn't fatal, but he did fell to the ground.
"You fool! You've come here because you are worthy of change!" The mysterious figure replies as Ren groans from the electrocution. "Your persona, Kanjo is the rebel that lives inside you. You hold such incredible power that most people cannot have, please use it wisely as your rehabilitation begins..."
"Power?! Wisely?! Rehabilitation?! Fuck this I quit!" Ren screams at the mysterious figure. Ren immediately got shocked once again and slowly falls to the ground from an attempt to stand up, his eyes slowly close as the mysterious figure continues to speak.
"You have two days, if you quit the Meta-Nav will never be on your phone. Or you can fix society and use it to your advantage... please choose wisely." The mysterious figure says as Ren closes his eyes, his dream ending eventually waking up in the living room in the morning.

Ren gets up to brush his teeth and get ready to school, he waves to his father before leaving the apartment. Ren sees Robin at the entrance of the academy, seeing two other people chatting with him. One student was fairly organized while the other didn't have a tie on but had a bow, they also had ripped pants and basically the complete opposite from the other one. Ren slowly pokes Robin on the shoulder quietly to catch his attention.
"Hey!! Ren!! These were the friends I was going to introduce you to! But y'know something happened and all." Robin smiles as he points to the two male students in front of him.
"This is Damien Sumato! He's very cryptic but he at least has a soft side." Robin says as Damien slowly waves staring at Ren quietly. Ren laughed nervously as he waves back.
"And this is Kenny Runa! He's very bubbly and talks a lot about B-pop!" Robin explains as Kenny smiles at Ren as he waves to him, Ren does the same. The four of them had a nice conversation until the bell starts to ring for class, the four of them head to class. Ren and Robin had the same classes while Damien and Kenny did as well. They were both like pairs, like a duo.

When it was lunch time, the two went up the stairs to the rooftop. Robin tugs on Ren's shoulder.
"Ren should we tell them what we saw yesterday? I know I can just apologize, but they're questioning the injury that I have on my hand." Robin says as he slowly moves it around to remind Ren what happened that day.
"Are you sure it's safe to tell them? I don't know if I trust them yet.." Ren replies as he lets out a sigh.
"Well you really don't have a choice since I told them the place where we have lunch now." Robin tells Ren as Damien and Kenny opened the rooftop door. Damien was lightly playing with his hair while Kenny was on his phone, most likely on social media or watching B-pop.
"So what did you want to tell us about the injury on your hand?" Damien asks Robin boldly. Even though Ren wasn't the one questioned, he gulps nervously to see how Robin will reply.
"Well, you know how I was going to introduce you guys to Ren after school but we weren't there?" Robin asks the two as they both nod in agreement. Ren lets out a sigh knowing he was going to explain what happened and think that he's just crazy.
"The thing is, when we made our way back, we saw a HUUUGGGGEEE palace in front of us like a medieval one. The entire place and the academy looked like a Kingdom! And these guards knocked us out trying to kill us." As Robin continues to explain, Kenny looked interested while Damien was facepalming himself. Ren looks down as he knew the explaining wouldn't make any sense at all.
"You know instead of making a fairytale, how about you actually show us the place after school?" Damien asks Robin as he was interrupting his explanation.
"Alright! I don't mind, I'll show you that it's real and not some kind of prank." Robin smiles not even hesitating to answer.
"If we're going to do that, we need to sneak in, unlike what we did last time." Ren informs Robin making sure they both don't do the same mistake again. He nods as the school bell rang to go back to class.
