Dean is an auto shop teacher. Castiel is a senior. His brother, Lucifer, teaches history class in the same school. Dean is strict, but he has a soft spot for Castiel. What will happen?

*Castiel's POV*

"Luci, do I have to?" I ask.

"Cassie, get out of the car," he tells me.

I huff, hopping out. This is my first time in a public school since maybe fourth grade. I'm socially awkward and I have anxiety. I don't mix well with others. Michael got fed up with me, though. He was tired of having me home all day, so he put me back here.

Luci, Gabriel, and I walk to the school entrance. I see all eyes on us. My gaze averts to the ground as I become embarrassed.

Gabriel puts an arm around my neck, chuckling. "Cassie, you'll be fine. You can stick with me."

I shake my head, pushing him away. "I'd rather be alone, thank you."

I make it through the day, for the most part. Right now, it's 5th period. I'm late, because Gabriel held me back after lunch.

"Who are you?" The teacher asks.

I look at the ground, shifting uncomfortably. "Castiel," I mutter.

"I can't hear you. If you're going to come into this classroom, you should announce yourself loud enough to be heard," she says sternly.

My anxiety takes over. I feel my breathing pick up. I quickly run out of the room, heading straight for Lucifer's classroom.

Someone in the halls bumps into me. He grabs onto my arm to stop me. "Are you okay?" He asks softly.

I look up, gasping at his features. I would pay more attention to them if I wasn't in a hurry to get to Luci.

"I'm fine, I need to go," I say, voice cracking.

He furrows his brows. "I hope you feel better," he says, noticing the tears in my eyes.

Immediately after he lets go of my arm, I bolt down the rest of the hallway. I burst into the room, shaking and crying. I don't want to be here. I want to go back home.

Lucifer immediately stops teaching. He turns to me with shock before running over.

"Cassie," Lucifer says softly. "Hey, come here. Sit down." He carefully leads me to his desk, sitting me onto his chair. "You're gonna be okay. What happened?"

"I wanna go home," I admit. "All day, it's been awful. Stares and accusations, people trying to talk to me. I can't handle it."

He sighs. "It's only the first day," he points out. "It'll get better. I'll talk to the teachers, okay? Give me your schedule."

I pull my bag onto my lap before reaching for the zipper. My hands continue to shake, replaying the incident in the classroom over and over again.

I manage to hand it to him. "I'll talk to them. Well, besides Dean. He can be pretty strict, but he knows not to overstep his boundaries."

"Dean?" I ask.

"Mr. Winchester, your auto shop teacher."

"You sure you shouldn't talk to him?" I ask.

"Yeah, Cassie, he's a good teacher. Just trust me on this," Luci says. I nod. "I've gotta get back to teaching, do you want to do some work here?"

I nod, pulling out some classwork. It's nothing bad, considering it's the first day of school. It's mainly just a questionnaire on what we already know.
