Chapter 2

Overall the kiss was like the fireworks outside, sparkling and breathtaking.

"I'm sorry" he said with a sheepish grin as he backed away

"Don't be"

"Did you... did you like it?"

"Maybe.... Did you?"

"Kinda"

"Me too"

"Can I finish?" He asked as I pulled him in one more time for a peck.

By the beginning of the school year we were already the number one couple in the high school. I understand why too, even though we only have one class together, I sit with him at lunch and while I'm practicing for the musical he's at football. after practice he then always drives me to dance and picked me up a smoothie on the way. now you tell me that isn't a perfect boyfriend.

"Hey babe can I take you to dance again tonight?"

"What do you think the answer is? Is the sky blue?"

"Well sometimes it's grey or black, you can never really tell. especially during those Cotten candy sunsets. Speaking of which, what are you doing Friday night?"

"Um nothing I don't think" I said checking my calendar "Nope all clear, what do you want to fill it up with"
