"For once Sokka actually has a good point." Toph said pointing towards me. I suggested that we stop at Ba Sing Se since it was so close by and just have fun relax,

"Hey I make good points all the time!" I said crossing my arms. The others laughed (Zuko producing only a small chuckle).

"Sokka it's true but not all the time." Kataara said giggling. Even my own sister?! But after a while I let it slide and laughed myself. So once everyone was situated Aang began taking us to Ba Sing Se!

The trip there was rather short we were so close that it only took us about an hour maybe less. As we arrived we looked down and smiled. Ba Sing Se just looked so beautiful at night. Sadly, only four of the five could see it. Toph sat in the back messing around with a small clump of rock. I knew I had to say something, so I got up and headed over.

"Hey." I said sitting down. It was all I could think of saying. I looked over and it dawned upon me the sadness which had planted it's way onto her face.

"Hey." She replied not looking up from her small clump of Earth. "How's the view?"

"Hmm, oh it's great really wish you could see this." I said looking over the side crossing my arms. I felt really bad for her. All her life was like this, darkness, emptiness. Yet she acted as if she didn't care at all. How could she do that? It was a mystery to me.

"Hey guys! We're about to land at Ba Sing Se so get ready!" Aang yelled from the reins. With another sigh I stood up and took Toph's hand in mine.

"Time to get going shall we?" I asked with a smile. Although she couldn't see it, she knew I did smile and she flashed me one of her own. My face flushed slightly and I walked to the front watching the gorgeous land scape pass under us.
