Chapter 20: The reasons

-kate pov-

"Wait, you mean like your brothers and sisters?"

I said worryingly as he nodded agreeing with me and my dad cleared his throat

"Well, do they have a purpose?"

"Usually, since they don't have hosts they can run wild, which means eating and devouring humans for their enjoyment and pleasure, sometimes they even have a signature kill in which makes them unique, like in this picture here with the child, see how her feet are biten off, that's a signature from my young brother, he has a tendency to do that to his victims"

Val explained and I looked at Dom

"What about your guys' signatures?"

I asked and Dom grinned

"I don't leave a physical signature, I eat souls, but you were able to control me, so I geuss I don't have one anymore thanks to you, but Nii-chan has a weird one"

She said as he chuckled and he took my hand to his face

"It is a woman's breasts of course because then people will always know my signature"

He said that and I immediately moved my hand away shivering then I looked at my dad

"Well still, what is there objective?"

"Well, if they are all in a group, father must have sent them, which means they are on a mission"

He said and then in a split second I felt a hand on my shoulder and shrieked loudly as everyone covered there ears

"Kate, shut up already it's me!"

I heard and I started to blush as I saw Ichigo behind me looking half dead

"Hey, what happened to you?"

I said and he gave me a irritated look

"A woman screaming at the top of her lungs right into my ear, what do you think?"

He said and I smiled a bit

"Oops."

I said as he sat in between me and Val. Then my father cleared his throat

"Well, what can you tell is there objective?"

"Most likely this one, since she's basicly the only living woman other than her aunt and grandmother who is in the Hitsugaya family, and I would say since Kate's body is weakened, she's more vulnerable"

He said and I had a shocked look

These people can't be dying because of me..

"Or they just want me and Dom back, either way it's either us or kate"

He said and I sighed and stood up looking at everyone

"I'm guessing I gotta be the one to hunt them then?"

I said and Ichigo stood straight up giving me a look

"No, we are all going to help you, this is effecting karakura town so it's both of our jobs to protect the people here"

He sternly yelled at me as I grinned

"Fine, another thing, dad you said you had two things you wanted to say to me"

I said then he came to me and gave a smile that scared me

"I know what happened"

He said and I gave a questioned look as Yourichi gave me the look also

"What do you mean?"

I said and then she put her arm around me

"You know, the stuff, you have been blushing at Ichigo more and you guys can't be separated for more than a moment"

She said and my face got very red. She knows it doesn't she?

"What are you talking about, we have always been like that,"

I said laughing a bit then my dad whacked Ichigo on the head with his cane

"You did nasty stuff didn't you?"

He said and my face went as red as my hair as Ichigo's did

"Well-uh, maybe, but why-"

"-nice work Kurosaki, but don't you dare even get her pregnant"

My dad said and Ichigo gave a look

"And why not?"

He said and me and Yourichi stayed silent as my dad pointed to me

"For starters, your not married, and second, Kate's body is weak now, so that means trying to give birth, that would put high risks and-"

"But her soul is strong enough anyways"

Ichigo interrupted and I looked at him as my dad grinned a bit

"Well Kurosaki, since your the expert, how do you think Katania's birth was?"

He said and I gave a look

"Dad, how was I born anyways?"

I said and he frowned

"Here's the memorie, Yourichi was there for the birth"

My dad held his hand out and me and Ichigo put our hands out
