Chapter 4

Alice's POV

It's been 4 days since we went to school, I see that Eugeo has changed a bit, back then he only lock himself in his room when his mother passed away, I'm really glad that we met new friends especially Kazuto. Eugeo's been talking about him looking familiar with someone that we used to know, although I didn't recall the memory that he was our childhood friend, honestly.. I do remember that we have one friend with a black hair, though judging from the name.. It doesnt sounds familiar. Today Kazuto planned to walk home with us, you know who asks him to walk with us.. Eugeo. I see that Eugeo is very close with Kazuto that quickly, normally it took sometimes to get along with him since he's shy, I'm just glad he wants to talk to someone. The school bell rings, meaning it's breaktime, I didnt really feel that time passed really quick, as usual.. Eugeo came to me first and then talk with Kazuto.

Eugeo's POV

"Hey Kazuto, do you want to go to the cafeteria?" I asks him while he's on his phone, his reaction was slow until he noticed that I ask him about that, "Ah- sure.. Do you want to come too Alice?" "Of course, you did told us you're going to intorduce us to your group" "Haha.. Right, I almost forgot" I chuckled when he said he almost forgot about it, "Are you an old man? How come you forget about something so easily?" "Hey, I was on my phone so I need sometimes to remember something alright?" "Haha, okay" he sighs and stands up, so would Alice, "Alright, let's go" he said with a smile, he starts to walk out and make his way to the cafeteria, me and Alice nod as we follow him from behind. As we got there we look around, searching for his group at the cafeteria, "over here!" someone shout as she waves, we noticed her quickly and walk to the group, "Hey, sorry for the other days" "It's fine, you said you weren't in a mood" a girl said as she pats his back, "Eugeo, Alice, this is my group.. Liz, Silica, and Asuna" "N-Nice to meet you" I said nervously, "Nice to meet you Alice, Eugeo!" one of them said with a smile, we sit down with the group, I think for a moment.. Does he only have them as his friend? Like, all girls.. I snapped out from thinking such thing, Kazuto likes to play games with them anyway. "So how are you Asuna? Feeling better?" "Of course, thanks for giving me the med, I feel a lot more better" "Well, I'm glad" "By anychance.. Are you two transfered students?" Asuna asks to us, "We're actually moved here so.. We dont.. Actually transfered.." "Since it's been 2 years we havent go to school" I continue what Alice said, "Heeh? You havent go to school for 2 years?" "Yeah.. Because.. Urmm.." I start to feel a bit uncomfortable, the others are looking at me as Alice looks concerned already, she then acts quick to cover it up "It's.. Personal" "Y-Yeah.." "Ah.. I see, well you dont really have to tell us if you dont feel like it Eugeo" "Thanks.." I look at Kazuto, for some reason he wasn't pay attention, he looks sleepy though.. "Kazuto?" he wasnt answering, my guessing must be right, he's feeling sleepy.

"Goodness Ki- I-I mean Kazuto, have you sleep from last night?" She asks while feeling a bit concerned to him, Kazuto shakes his head and somehow snapped from spacing out, "Oh- Um.. Yeah.. Just.. For some hours.." "I told you to rest too even though you also concerned about my health, you should take care of yours too" "I know.. I wasn't able to sleep well last night so.." Kazuto then looks at us, "Say.. Do you guys have an interest?" "Interest?" "Like.. A hobby or somesort" we went quiet and look at eachother, I dont have a hobby or interest, it's been years so I dont really know, for Alice though.. She mostly likes to writes and cook but.. I dont know if that one counts since she cooks everyday for both of us.. "N-Not really.. Haha.." "Oh- I see-" "Why do you ask?" "..." he doesnt seems to answer again, like.. Somehow spacing out again, he was still looking at us but blankly, "Kazuto" "Ngn-? Oh- hngh Im sorry I.." he shook hid head and stand up, "Eh? Kazuto what's-" "I'm sorry but.. I need to go for a bit, I'll see you at class.." "Oh- okay um- see you at class-" I said as I watch him walk away from us, sweat drops from my face for a moment which made me concern.. Is he alright..? I look at the others "U-Um.. I-I'll go after him, is it.. Okay if I leave too..?" they didnt nod for a second, Asuna then nod slowly "It's okay, we can try to talk again some other times, I'm also worried about him so.." I smile a bit as I look at Alice, she nods "Go, I'll stay here with the others" "Okay.. Then.. See you later!" I waved to them as I walk away, catching up to Kazuto.. I hope he's okay..
