"I don't think you should go." Mina finally began.

"Well I mean, I wasn't really planning on it." Y/N shrugged. "But, I basically have nothing to do tonight. I was looking forward to making this really delicious looking lobster recipe that I saw on Instagram but I just realized how lazy I am." She continued to blabber.

"You're not going." Mina protested.

"But-"

"Promise me you won't go?" Mina extended out her pinky for a pinky promise" Y/N sighs before finally intervening their pinkies.

"Fine"

They're hangout session ended pretty early due to Mina having a family emergency, leaving Y/N with plenty of time to cook that recipe. First, she headed to the local grocery store, buying all of the needed ingredients for this meal.

"And now I need...a can of tomato's." She made her way down the aisle, finally finding the cans of tomatoes. But, one problem. They were on the top shelf.

"Ughh, why do they put them so high?" She used her tippy toes to attempt to reach. She's groaned in frustration as she used all her energy to grab that one can. As she did so for the 6th time, almost giving up, she perceived a hand grabbing the same exact can that she spent almost 10 minutes attempting to grab.

"Here. I saw that you were struggling." He handed her the merely heavy item, chuckling a bit.

"Thank you." She thanked, also shyly chuckling a bit while patting herself off. As she grabbed the can from his grasp, something caught her eye.

"Nice tat there." She complemented as she eyed the small tat on his hand, spelling out an initial in cursive. "J.J."

He looked down at his hand too. "T-thanks" He stuttered. He quickly covers up that area of his hand, which confused Y/N but, it's none of her business.

"Thanks again." She smiled before finally walking away to grab the last two ingredients that she was missing.

To be totally honest, she basically forgot that entire interaction once she arrived home. One thing about Y/N is that she can't focus on one thing at a time.

Y/N laid flat on her bed, staring up at the blank ceiling, her hands behind her head, slightly lifting up her baige sweater.

She just finished cooking and eating one of the best meals of her entire life, and she was pretty proud of herself too. But now, she had nothing to do.

It was still pretty early in her eyes.

"Maybe I could...get some "fresh air" at Riverside Park? No, Mina would kill me. But I mean, it's fresh air. Everyone needs it." She thought.

10:45 P.M.

She walked out of her apartment building, the cool air slightly calming her racing heart. The street lights glistened off the wet streets, drenched from earlier's rainstorm.

Her hands were tucked deep into the pockets of her nude coat, her naturally wavy hair held back in a low ponytail.

She soon arrived at the empty park. The only sounds heard was the obnoxious sound of crickets chirping and rain droplets falling on leaves.

She sits down on a nearby bench, pulling out her smartphone, debating on whether or whether not she should call Mina. Maybe she could lie and say she's just bored at home?

She finally presses the call button, putting the phone to her ear.

Her heart begins to race faster as she hears heavy foot steps coming closer and closer. As her head shot up at the noise of a twig snapping, her phone drops on the ground.

As she bends down to pick up her phone, a pair of shiny dress shoes stood before her. She picks her head up, her chest tightening at the sight before her. Who?

Mina's POV

Mina quickly snatches her phone off the table, answering the call and putting it to her ear.

Mina: Hello?

The sound of eerie screams rung through her ears as she pushed the phone from her ear.

Mina: Stop playing with me, Y/N. I'm busy right now.

Without hesitation, she ends the call, not knowing that her best friend is being kidnapped?
