Izuku's POV~

"Please remember class, villain attacks are becoming more common. Don't go outside at night alone and there's a new curfew. You all have to be in the dorm building by seven." Aizawa was droning on about the new rules the school set up because of the villains.

I was a little worried about all of the recent attacks, but it wasn't something I lost sleep over. We're the UA hero course, I knew that we were prime targets, but we could completely handle ourselves. Besides, it's not like I go outside alone at night often. I didn't have a whole lot to be afraid of.

Once the bell rang, everyone flooded out of the classroom. I was dragged along by Uraraka. "All the recent villain attacks are pretty scary, huh Deku?" She asked while making a bee line for the dorm building.

I was slightly stumbling after her, the girl had a fast walk. "I'm not that worried." I managed to say back to her.

She seemed surprised by my answer and actually stopped us from moving forwards. The sudden change in motion nearly made me fall flat on my face. "Why aren't you worried?! The spike in activity is a very serious threat to all of our safety!" Her voice raised an octave or two while she was talking, making me wince slightly.

"Jeez Ura, calm down. I just mean that if villains attack us, I think we'd all be able to handle ourselves, not to mention it would be nearly impossible for them to get any of us alone." I pointed out, holding my hands up in surrender. I didn't want her to think that I didn't care about everyone's safety, I just had a lot of confidence in all of our abilities.

She seemed to calm down a little bit after I explained, but she still didn't look happy with my thinking process. "Even if we are capable students, we're just that, students. The villains that have been attack all over the city have been adults. They have more training and experience with their quirks. This isn't something to take lightly, Deku. Promise me you'll be careful." She said, looking at me with a scared expression.

I couldn't help the guilt that overtook me. I hated making people worry about me, especially my friends. "I promise I'll be careful." I said with a reassuring smile. She let out a breath of relief, before suddenly linking our arms and continuing on our journey to the dorms.

"Uraraka, Midoriya! We were just waiting for you two!" As soon as we entered the commons area, Mina was shouting at us from the other side of the big room.

Uraraka and I exchanged confused looks. "Why were you all waiting for us?" She asked back.

"We're gonna play 'bonding' games! Which is just a way of saying truth or dare and never have I ever without Iida freaking out at us." Mina answered, stage whispering the last part. Iida gasped in offense, and we all laughed it off.

Uraraka and I made our way over to the rest of the class, who were already sitting around the big room. We found some empty spots, the only ones being on the floor in front of the couches, and the game started. We started with truth or dare and it wasn't to extreme, Iida apparently had the power to veto dares that were 'not safe or school appropriate', taking away some of the fun. The worst dare was Uraraka's, and she just had to sit on Iida's lap. He was too flustered to object, which was the whole reason Mina did it.

We played for an hour or so, then people started to get bored. No one would play never have I ever because, as Kacchan put it, 'it's fucking lame without alcohol,' his words, not mine. We eventually settled for just going around in a circle and asking each other questions that you couldn't refuse or else the whole class came up with a dare you had to do. It wasn't that much different from truth or dare, but everyone was more excited because Iida had left to do homework in his dorm. A lot of people had left, the only ones still around to play were me, Uraraka, Mina, Kirishima, Kacchan, Todoroki, Asui, and Kaminari. I was only still there because Ura made me. I couldn't believe Kacchan and Todoroki wanted to stay.

The next game started and everyone was answering, until it was Kacchan's turn.

"Who do you have a crush on?" Mina asked with mischievous eyes.

I watched Kacchan look away from everyone and try to act nonchalant, but we didn't miss the light pink color his cheeks became. "I don't have a fucking crush. What are we, middle schoolers?" He asked back, quite sassily.

I giggled at his answer. "C'mon Kacchan, everyone's got a crush. Just tell us." I teased. He rolled his eyes at me, but didn't lash out like he used to.

After we fought at the training grounds that one night, he's been slowly warming up to me. It hasn't been easy or quick by any means, but it's an improvement, and it makes me happy. I missed my childhood friend.

"If you don't do it, then you'll have to do a dare that we chose." Mina taunted. She really wanted him to answer the question, but he just wasn't going to budge.

He scoffed and crossed his arms. "You all have weak dares anyway." He said casually.

Mina sighed at his response. "Fine, dare it is. Midoriya, be a doll and grab me soy sauce, chocolate syrup, regular syrup, hot sauce, ketchup, and milk." She said with an evil smirk on her face. Kirishima and Kaminari gagged at the description and Kacchan's face seemed to pale. I hesitantly got up from my seat on the floor and headed to the kitchen. I looked through the cupboards and the fridge, but we didn't have soy sauce or milk. I took the rest of the ingredients to Mina, "We're out of milk and soy sauce." I said sadly.

Her face fell at my words. She checked her phone and perked back up. "We still have an hour before curfew, so we can just go get the other ingredients!" She said cheerfully.

Everyone looked at her in a bit of surprise. "You really want him to suffer, don't you?" Kirishima asked her. She nodded excitedly, causing us all to laugh and Kacchan to grumble about getting new friends.

Everyone froze at his words. "Did you just admit that we're your friends?!" Kaminari asked in complete and utter shock.

Kacchan was like a deer in headlights. "Shut the fuck up extras, let's just go get this shit for my stupid dare." He said, getting up off of the couch and stomping to the door like a toddler that didn't get his way. We all laughed at his reaction.

"Hey guys! We're friends with Katsuki Bakugou!" Kaminari cheered as we all walked towards the small grocery store a few blocks from the school. We all cheered with him as Kacchan turned bright red from embarrassment or anger, I couldn't tell. Maybe both.

We filed into the store. It had a small door so only one or two of us could actually go in at a time. I was the last one to enter. Just before I got both feet in the door, I felt a hand snake around my head and cover my mouth. I was pulled back from the bright store. The laughing faces of my classmates as they joked with each other was the last thing I saw before the world went dark.
