Izuku's POV~
"We're gonna save you dumbass." Todo deadpanned. I glared at him out of the corner of my eye.
"Is it seriously too much to ask that you both get along?" I said with a sigh. I decided to be as dramatic as possible and moved the back of my hand to my forehead in a grand gesture and pretended to fall onto Todo in exhaustion. It earned me a chuckle from the duel haired boy.
"He's being dramatic isn't he?" Shin asked from the other side of the line. I stayed where I was, comfortably draped over Todo, but pouted to show my annoyance. "Yup." Todo responded.
There was a loud bang from Shinso's side, causing Todo and I to jerk up in alert. "Shit, I gotta go. Love you." And then he ended the call.
I looked at Todoroki with a terrified expression, which he mirrored. "We have to get him out of there." I said.
~~~~Time Skip~~~~
"So let me get this straight. You're traitor boyfriend ran off after icy hot and I found him out and showed you the evidence. Then you two started to fuck around,"
"Kacchan that's not-"
"Shut it nerd. So now you're both dating this fuck up, and you want my help with... what exactly?" Kacchan asked in confused rage.
Todoroki and I had rushed to find Kacchan. I had already planned on asking him to help with the plan, but I got kind of sidetracked.
"First off, he's not a traitor. He was protecting someone. Second, he's not a fuck up, so don't even go there right now. We just need your help to get him back." I was surprised that Shoto was the one to defend my-our-his- I don't even know at this point, but someone's boyfriend. Shoto defended a boyfriend.
"Feisty aren't we? I don't really appreciate the attitude and well, if you both want me to help..." Kacchan was taking the route both of us expected. He wouldn't say no to going on a mission like this, especially since the pros are allowing it, but he wouldn't say yes without some convincing.
"Shinso's an innocent person and, as a hero in training, you should be leaping at the chance to help him." I tried to appeal to the whole 'pro hero' thing, and I think it just pissed him off more.
"Why the fuck would I ever want to help that useless extra? Pro hero or not, he's a waste of my time." He scoffed and crossed his arms.
I really wanted to hit him for what he was saying about the boy I loved, but I knew that it wouldn't help my case at all. I decided to go for a last resort option. I didn't have high hopes for this technique, but I was desperate at this point.
"C'mon Kacchan, please!" Yeah, I was totally just gonna beg now until he gave in. I could be very stubborn when it came to things I care about, like certain angsty teen boys. All three- ah I mean two- I mean two of them.
He just laughed at me. "I don't give a shit if you say 'please', nerd. It's not gonna change my opinion."
I put on my best puppy dogs eyes. I was totally going to try something that I was totally going to regret. "Please Kacchan. We need you. I need you." Welp, I said that.
Did he finally crack and agree like I hoped for?
Yes.
Did Todoroki get jealous and pull me back to him with his arm wrapped around my waist?
Yes.
Did this, in turn, cause Kacchan to get upset and stomp off?
Yes.
But you know what, he was going to help, so whatever I guess. I had to worry about the safety of one of my boyfriends right now, I couldn't be worried about another's temper tantrum. Wait. Forget I said any of that honestly.
Todoroki and I made our way to Nezu's office and told the pros that Shoto and Katsuki were both going to be helping us. They seemed a little shocked that Kacchan was going to help, seeing as everyone knew that he hated Shinso and really couldn't be bothered with his wellbeing. Well, Midnight didn't seem shocked. She had a knowing look that made me blush a little bit because she totally knew how I got him to help.
We finalized the plan, knowing we had to get started sooner now because of what happened on the phone. The plan was pretty simple really. The pros had figured out where the league was now stationed, in an abandoned hotel on the outskirts of the city. The students who were going with, including me, Todoroki, and Kacchan, would go in first and stick to the shadows, scoping out everything. There weren't very many of us and we were going to have Midnight with us in case of emergencies. We'd report everything we find back to the other pros. Then it's just locating Shinso and getting out of there.
Simple, right?
Not exactly. Finding Shinso was the easy part. Getting him out was the challenge.
We made it into the building smoothly. We walked around and quickly found Shinso on the first floor lobby area, but he was chained up and surrounded by villains. My guess was that they found out about Shoto and I calling him and they weren't too happy about it.
"I fucking knew it. I called it from the beginning but none of you dumb asses would listen to me." A black haired man with purple scaring said from below us. All of us were currently on a balcony type structure looking down on the scene.
"I already told you guys, it's not-," Shinso tried to speak up, but he was cut off my a man with blue hair. "Save it kid. We know everything, there's no point in trying to deny it now." He said, causing Shin to drop his head in defeat.
"Shit, we have to help him." I heard Shoto whisper to me.
All I could do was nod in agreement.
