Nothing. Nothing ever could've prepared me for that mistransfer.
My name, Kaito Yuuto. Honestly, I feel that I'm a weird guy. My father is a big figure, though I barely ever see him and my mother, she was his boss. Father had two wives, my mother Akari Yuuto, queen like demeanor, and was one hell of a woman, and after her death, my step-mother, Kanna Yuuto was well, silently cold. Both of them were my fathers' bosses, and this made me perplexed; having two wives with the same surname being your boss or whether how my surname was the same as theirs, both, but they treated me well.
I remember I had a younger half-sister, that little girl who would boldly follow me everywhere, sometimes even the toilet, so, if I had to go for nature's call, I'd let my hand fly backwards perfectly hitting the back of her neck, she was always behind me, and this knocked her unconscious, allowing me some free time.
I never killed before, because, of course I am a common peace-loving pacifist, seriously. And I just break their bones and cripple them, so clearly, I wasn't traumatized of gore, but one of the main events in my life, when I was 26 years old, had given me a violet urge to murder, my supposed death.
A robbery, I remember it as yesterday. It started as usual. My sister, Aoi Yuuto, nagged me to go shopping, and she bought ridiculously expensive stuff, like a pen for 10,000 Yen, seriously. Well it apparently had nice designs and a gem or something, but still. So we went to the bank to 'refill' money, one of the things I had in excess, in fact so much I didn't know what to do with it, but when we went inside, men in black followed.
'Hands up! And get down or else die, bon sharlots!' a man wearing a white ridiculous mask said so intimidatingly.
Bon sharlots? Didn't get that reference, I sat on the floor naturally, but my sister was too scared for that.
'Aoi, sit down.' i commented nonchalantly. She turned to look at me, reading a red book with the title 'Boring' which happened to match with my bored expression, she let out a small chuckle, sat down, and grasped my cheeks.
'Change your expression sometimes, we are being robbed, Onii-chan.' I lightly lifted her hand of, unfazed. 'Like what? By these newbies, come on, its not like you care whether we are robbed or not.' I know her, she just wants a bit of drama.
She thought for a while then a playful smile appeared on her lips. 'Onii-chan~, remember when you were little, everyone mistook you for a girl, i remember the huge commotion caused in school when a 'girl' walked into the boys bathroom, i still can't forget their faces, you looked like a girl, no matter which angle i saw you from, hehehe.' she chuckled quietly.
'Well, everyone makes mistakes. Atleast I don't look like a girl now, right?' Those days when one was a child, I smiled slightly knowing my sister needed it right now, this was still a robbery. But still, even mom mistook me for Aoi sometimes, I don't know why I looked like a girl, but now I have a handsome face and light brown, almost golden eyes, so I don't look like a girl anymore.
'See! I told you that you looked charming when you smile didn't I? but still such a stiff smile doesn't count.' she said disappointed, knowing her joke failed.Wait, i think she is a bit too loud?
'Aoi keep your voice low, you will attract the---' but, it was too late.Sigh, another bout of trouble on this lazy day, the world is screaming for me to sleep.
'Hey you two, keep it shut, or do you want me to keep you quiet forever?' an aggressive black man 'aggressively' stomped his way to us, raising my head slightly, my eyes passed him and returned to my book, I suppressed a yawn that would have bought much more trouble, but still I'm tired already, robberies are boring honestly, where is all the fun, these stupid people don't even give me, the mc, any attention.
