First things first, thanks for reading! This book has been one that I have enjoyed writing most and I put a lot of time and effort into this, so I hope it is well received and liked.
What I do want to address though is the theme of abuse which I have included regarding one of the character's plots. I was very weary about adding this because I have never included this kind of sensitive theme in my writing. So if it is poorly written or I have made it too exaggerated, I would like to apologise. I am in no way at all trying to glamorise or romanticise abuse. And I really, really hope it hasn't come off that way, there is no scar kissing or 'your scars are beautiful', it is supposed to be raw and unpleasant to read. It has been used to mould one of the character's personality, it is what makes them dependant and impulsive. Again, if this has been done wrong or you dislike it, please message me and I'll address your complaints or do not read those chapters. I will definitely add warnings at the start and in chapters so please don't worry if you are triggered by those themes!
Though the target audience I selected for this book in teenagers, I meant older teenagers as this is meant to be an older teenage fiction book. Just because of what I've included.
This book also has mature and adult themes, so yes, sex (very explicit sex) - so read with caution. I might not add warnings for sex since I added it here, unless it is requested.
