Storm P.O.V.
   I couldn't believe what Gale said, that Nashi might die. I can't imagine a world where Nashi wasn't. Nashi is my whole world.
   "What are you thinking about?" Dad asked. Yesterday we all went home with our family. I was a little shocked that dad said anything. Ever since we got here dad has been a little distant. Not a cold distant more like 'I don't know what to do' distant.
"Probably about his girlfriend." Rin shrugged.
"That's all he ever thinks about." Sylvia commented.
"Shut up." I grumbled smacking them both on the head. "Aren't you two supposed to be training with mom anyway?"
"No after training she fell back asleep." Sylvia pouted.
"Can't blame her. You woke her up at dawn and trained for hours. You annoying brats." I said.
"We're not annoying brats!" They both yelled.
"Yeah yeah yeah. We're about to leave for Fairy Tail so go take a shower and get ready y'all stink." I said.
"Whatever." They rolled their eyes and went to their rooms.
"Look I know you're worried about Nashi, but you have to trust that everything is going to be OK." Dad said.
"I know that but she's my whole world. I don't know what I would do without her." I tried to explain but words couldn't express how I would feel.
"You really love her don't you?" Dad asked.
"You have no idea." I sighed.
"Maybe, maybe not. What you just described is how I feel about your mother. Don't tell her I said that though. I'm not going to pretend like I know what it is like to be a dragon slayers mate because the only thing I know is that is really extreme. I can't imagine what it has to be like for you. Nashi could possibly die and that's worrying you, but what she said yesterday is true. She's not gonna be taken down that easily especially if she's anything like Natsu." Dad reassured me.
   "Thanks dad." I said.
Gale P.O.V.
   I woke up that morning and went straight to dads stash of metal. It was smaller than the usual, but that was OK. There was more than enough for me and dad. When I got there as usual dad was already there.
   "Hi dad." I yawned.
   "Morin'." Dad replied.
   "Hey dad?" I questioned.
   "Huh?"
   "I was wondering if it shocked you that you had kids."
   "Why do you ask?"
   "It's just I saw your reaction when Metallicana and I introduced ourselves."
   "Kiddo I wanted kids with Shrimp I was just shocked that all of you guys came from the future. I mean it isn't everyday your future kids pop up out of nowhere." Dad explained.
   "I guess it was a dumb question." I shrugged.
   "Good morning." Mom came in the room. "What were y'all talking about?"
   "Nothing." Dad grumbled and I'm pretty sure I saw a blush. It was so weird seeing dad blush about mom.
   "Morning mom. Hey dad let's go train." I said pulling on his arm.
   Dad gruffed while mom laughed.
Igneel P.O.V.
   "So... when did you and Storm get together?" Mom asked Nashi.
"Almost 8 months." Nashi smiled.
I laughed.
"What's so funny?" Nashi asked.
"I was just remembering dads reaction when you told the guild." I grinned.
"That was funny." She laughed.
"What did I do?" With a little convincing mom let dad stay with us.
"When we came in and we told everyone dad started crying saying that his baby girl was all grown up. That I found my..." she paused not sure how to phrase it. "Boyfriend."
"Wait! So you mean you've never had a boyfriend!" Mom's jaw dropped.
"Uh no. You see for us dragon slayers love is super important and we can't date anyone other than our... mate." Nashi explained.
"I forgot about that!" Dad cried. "You've already found your mate."
"How did you forget! Mom is sitting right there!" I exclaimed. At that mom turned bright red.
"How about you Igneel? Have you found yours?" Dad asked.
"Yes." I answered.
"Who is it?" Mom piped in.
"Nova Dreyar." Nashi answered for me.
"How do you know when you've found your mate?" Mom asked.
"I'm not entirely sure how to explain it but I guess it's kinda like love at first sight only different." Nashi tried to explain.
"So how did you guys get together with your mate?" Mom was really interested in this. Dad didn't ask any questions or anything, but it was pretty obvious that he wanted to know too.
"Nova was helping her mom at the bar in the guild. I ordered she gave my drink to me and I just blurted it out. She was so shocked she didn't answer me at first. I was so humiliated after I apologized she said it was fine and that she would go out with me. I was so happy I jumped out of my chair and kissed her." I admitted.
"We took a super tough mission that was more than we bargained for and ended up with me in the hospital for two months. Once I was healed he took me to this hill where we could see the entire town. It was really beautiful. He gave this really long speech and asked me out." She admitted.
I had followed them to that place because I didn't trust Storm with Nashi at that time and heard the speech. It was mostly about how he wouldn't be able to stand it if something happened like that to her again. That's when I started trusting Storm with Nashi. She doesn't know that I was listening in on them otherwise she would kill me. I knew she was thinking about him. She was worried, but not about herself about Storm.
"Don't worry Nashi I'm sure everything will work out. There is no need to worry." I tried to reassure her.
"I'm not worried about me I'm worried about Storm." She sighed and put her head down. "I don't think I'm gonna die or anything. I'm not worried about that. It's just if I did I don't know if he would be able to handle it. I mean I know it would be tough on you guys, but it would be even tougher on him."
"It's like you said Nashi, everything will work out. Your not gonna die and Storm will be just fine so don't worry about it." Dad said.
"Your father is right. Besides you're both are Fairy Tail wizards meaning your strong and way to stubborn to die." Mom added.
They've only been parents for not even 2 days and they've already adjusted and know what to do. I knew they were good parents but not this good.
