During the next couple of weeks it’s been calm. I stayed in the apartment cause I knew I had to if I wanted to be near my new jobs. I was lucky to find a few at the mall at ‘Snuggle Bears Toy Store' and 'Brian's Books' which was a little old fashioned book store.

“ Hey, Eva do you have any plans for Saturday?” Steve looks over at me while placing a couple of books on the shelf.

“ Yeah, I’m going to stay home all weekend and watch a marathon of Harry Potter..,Why do you ask?" He looks away

“No reason just was curious.” Noticing his face was slightly pink I looked away shyly

“Do you like Harry Potter?” He laughs a little

“Yeah, who doesn't?” I smiled

“Do you want to come over and watch the marathon with me?” He looks at me sheepishly

“You sure? I don't want to intrude”

"You wouldn't, plus the more the merrier" He smiled widely

"Sounds like fun!”

The week went by in a blink of an eye. I was looking forward to the little date but felt strangely nervous.

I stretch my arms as I walk to my book shelf and grab the Harry Potter movies placing them in front of the tv. Again I go over to the mirror and make sure my hair and outfit looks ok for the fifth time then hear my phone buzz.

I walk over to it and see it's a text from Steve asking what type of snacks I would like so he could get them on his way. I text him popcorn and to not get to much because I ordered pizza.

As I wait for him I watched funny videos on my phone but stop when I feel someone watching me. I get up going into each room and see my old teddy bear on the floor next to my bed. I pick it up putting it back on my bed and go back to the living room.

After a short while there was a knock on the door. I jump to the mirror check my looks one last time opening the door revealing John. I forced a smile

"Hi John, what brings you here?" He smiles

"Came by to help you rethink about my offer, are you busy right now?"

"I'm sorry John I have plans, maybe next time? " I try and close the door but he blocks it.

"Come on, this is a chance of a life time. You can reschedule your plans." I felt my insides turn as I look into his eyes

"I'm sorry John, that's not me. Now will you please leave?" He smiles and let's the door go

"Sure but I won't give up, I have no doubt in my mind you would be absolutely amazing at it" I force a smile again and giggle

"Ok then, we'll see" He smiles widely

"I'll take that as a challenge, bye for now Eva" He waves then walk down the hallway

I close my door and lock it. With a sigh of relief I go to the kitchen and grab a beer and wait for Steve.

Knock knock

I go to the door and look through the peephole this time and see Steve. I open the door and smile

"Hi Steve!" He smiles back

"Hello Eva!" I open the door and he walks inside and puts the bag of popcorn on the table

"The pizza isn't here yet but please do make yourself comfortable on the couch" I walk into the kitchen and grab two beers

"Ok" He then goes and sits on the couch

As I'm taking the beer out I couldn't help but feel like I'm being watched again and turn around and see Steve looking at the book shelf. I shrug it off and hand him a beer.

"I forgot about that part, I can't believe that happened! " Steve laughs

"That's my favorite part! My mind was blown when I first saw it!" I get up grabbing both our plates and put them in the sink.

"Wow it's gotten so late" I look over to Steve then to my phone and see it's pass 12 in the morning

"I told you it would take long, do you want to continue the marathon or do you want to finish it tomorrow?" He blushes and talks softly I could barely hear what he saying

"I want to stay with you a little longer" I look at him

"What did you say?" He blushes deeply and shakes his head getting up

"I'll come back tomorrow if that's ok" I smile

"You sure? I have an extra pillow and blanket if you want to stay" He shakes his head

"It's ok, I have to help my mother in the morning anyway. Thank you though" He goes to the door and I follow behind opening the door

"See you tomorrow" I hug him and feel him hug back then let go. He says his goodbye and leaves

I close the door and giggle in excitement and go to my room and see the teddy bear on the floor again. I pick it up looking at it and places it on the night stand instead as I go into the bathroom.

I turn on the shower and wait for it to get warm  humming to myself. As the water get warmer I take off my clothes and get under the water. I continue to hum but stop when I hear someone else faintly hum too. Panicky I stop the water and quickily grab a towel covering myself up. I slowly get out and open my door then freeze as my eyes land on a little girl playing with my old teddy bear two feet off the ground.
