Chapter 3

*At the Institute of Perfection*

Lou stayed up until midnight, unable to sleep. Since the connection was cut there, the TV would just play static, and sometimes it would not come on at all.
He tried playing on his phone but the connection kept getting stuck, he was getting mad. The blonde male wanted to yell but he didn't want to wake up Mandy, who fell asleep 4 hours ago.

He became tired as he just passed out on his bed, his phone on his stomach.

*Morning*

Mandy woke up at 8am, making breakfast for the two. Lou didn't wake up until 11am. When he went downstairs, he saw Mandy reading a book. "Good morning Lou!" She looked up, smiling at him. "Morning.." He went straight to the coffee machine.
He sat on the couch, looking at the front door while sipping on the hot drink. He grabbed his phone but it was dead, he forgot to charge it last night. He growled a bit as he heard the ankle tracker do it's normal beeping noise.

"What made you wake up late?" Mandy walked up to the couch he was at. "I couldn't sleep, I tried playing games on my phone but the connection sucks here..then I just passed out.." He took a sip of his coffee. "Are you well rested?" She wondered. "I guess.." He rolled his eyes.

The door bell suddenly rang. Mandy opened the door, seeing one of the robotic police men handing them a newspaper. "Here's your paper, Mrs." The robot spoke loudly. "U-uh..thank you?.." She then closed the door.
"When did they start doing that?" Lou asked, the tan female shrugged.
Mandy then read the paper, all it talked about was Uglyville..and only Uglyville.
"Let me see.." Lou spoke up, she handed him the paper. Lou set his coffee down on the counter as he read it, he growled loudly since it talked about the UglyDolls. He ripped up the paper, pieces and pieces of paper flying all over the living room. "Who sent this out here!?" He was furious, his anger getting the best of him. He got so mad that he stomped to his room.
"What a baby.." Mandy spoke quietly, washing his now finished coffee mug.
