T W O

THIRD PERSON 

" And where were you? Getting drunk to forget all your problems?! " Zaira yells at Natalia. They had been fighting for a few hours now. Neither Jonathan or Freddy knew why, but they were huddled together on the couch, researching possible missions they could be handed next. The duo keeps fighting, which forced Jonathan and Freddy to sit closer together and research harder, listening to music to block out the noise of them yelling. 

After about an hour the yelling suddenly stopped, making Freddy and Jonathan exchange a look before looking over the couch to see someone, Scott, standing in the doorway. Jonathan pauses the music he had blasting through the earbuds he and Natalia were sharing. 

" Hey Scott, why are you here? With no warning? " Jonathan asks, noting the absence of Zaira and Natalia, but asking later. Scott shrugs and sits down on the couch next to Jonathan and Freddy. 

" Why the hell are you two so close? " Scott asks, looking pointedly at the two of them. 

" You know why Scott, " Jonathan says. Scott nods. Freddy gets up and makes a cup of coffee, then sits on the counter and sips the black coffee. 

" What's buzzing through your head maniac? " Jonathan asks Freddy. 

" Scott, you're here for a reason. What's out new mission? " Freddy asks, ignoring Jonathan. 

" You don't have one. I'm here to tell you that the team is getting a vacation, " Scott says. The window opens, making Freddy draw his gun and point it at the window. The only things that come through are Natalia and Zaira. Freddy puts his gun away as Scott when over gun protocol until he left. 

" He said we get to go on a vacation. " Freddy says, drinking his coffee. Freddy and Zaira look ecstatic. Jonathan looks at Natalia, expecting something, though he gets nothing but silence. 

The next day the team parts ways. Jonathan head back to Atlantic City, NJ to stay with his father. Freddy flies to San Jose, CA to stay with his family. Zaira plans extensive plans to travel throughout Europe. Natalia takes a flight to her apartment in Hong Kong.

Natalia sits in the apartment rented out for her. She drops a duffel bag on the floor and lays on the couch, watching television until she fell asleep. She did nothing for the few weeks she had to stay away from the job. During those weeks she manages to get lost in five different cities around the Hong Kong area. She also manages not to burn the apartment building down. She also manages set a bowl of cereal on fire but that needs no further information. 

Then, the director calls her and tell her to rally up her team and report to the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and make sure no one is following them.
