THIRD PERSON
TRIGGER WARNING: DEATH/BLOOD
Freddy and Jonathan quit. They left everyone who they met and bonded with during their time in the CIA besides Natalia and Zaira. The CIA moved Natalia to the primary agent and Zaira to the secondary agent. The government decided to see how well the mission would go without the proper members of the team.
Natalia finished her mission, Zaira didn't. Zaira got pumped full of bullets trying to stop the mole. Right in front of Natalia. Natalia already lost so much, too much. She wasn't about to lose the closest thing to a sister she's had since she was a kid. No. Not fucking happening. But it did, bad things always happen to her.
Natalia crumbles to the ground and tries to stop Zaira's bleeding, but she's dead by the time she hits the ground, " No, no, no, please no, please no. Please, don't, no, no, no. Z, please. Stop, stop it. No, no, no, " Natalia panics and calls the police.
" Hi, could you send out an ambulance to Wayne Enterprises, please, " Natalia says, trying to calm her heartbeat and breathing as tears roll down her face.
" Alright miss, why? " The dispatch says, she recognizes the voice, it's Jonathan's sister, Kristin.
" Kristin, remember me, Natalia, Jonathan's friend? My friend, Zaira, she's been shot, please hurry. "
" Oh, ok Natalia, they'll be there soon, alright? I'm going to hang up now, " Kristin says, and hangs up. Natalia mutters an 'okay' as she cries over Zaira's cold, now very pale, body while putting pressure everywhere. The ambulance arrives and puts Zaira in a body bag. The police ask Natalia to see her ID and she pulls it out and gives them her statement. She also tells the leading officer to call NCIS headquarters, Zaira was a retired Marine anyway.
The paramedics let Natalia ride in the back with her best friend's, more like annoying older sister's, dead body. She leaves once they get to the morgue and walks to Wayne Enterprises. They let her in and she walks to Oliver's office and steals some of his clothes and changes.
She spends the rest of her day moping until headquarters calls her.
" The mission's failed, it's over, report back to headquarters, " Tabitha, the director of her department says.
" I'm catching who killed my best friend, my sister in arms. I'm going to get them. I'm going to end it. Try and stop me, " Natalia growls into her phone as she hops onto her motorcycle and drives to where she found Freddy.
She breaks in and finds a group of people, including Natasha. She starts shooting at people and knocks out everyone else. She calls headquarters while fighting Natasha, " FOUND THEM!! " She yells as Natasha smashes her phone.
" Damn sis, now I gotta get a new phone, " Natalia says sarcastically as she knocks Natasha off of the catwalk. She catches her, then Natasha swings herself back onto the catwalk and starts punching her sister.
" Hey Talia, miss me? " Natasha says sarcastically. Natalia catches Natasha's wrist and pushes her onto the ground. She knocks Natasha out and handcuffs her to a pole somewhere.
She calls headquarters, " I got the mole, it's my sister, send the closest field agent and send them over in a huge van. Oh, there's also a lot of dead bodies, " She says sarcastically then hangs up.
About half an hour later a huge van pulls up, the person steps into the building and she recognizes them as Tabitha and loads the criminals into a car.
" Mission's been completed Miss Alyeska, congratulations, and I'm sorry for your loss, let's go, " Tabitha says as she climbs into the driver's seat. Natalia hops into the passenger's seat. They drive to headquarters and leave the criminals there. Natalia rides a motorcycle to Wayne Enterprises.
She turns around and drives to her apartment and shoves her motorcycle into the back of the Hummer and packs her Zaira's stuff into the trunk of the Hummer. Once in the car, she calls Oliver. It goes straight to voicemail.
" Hey Ollie, my mission's over, I probably won't see y'all for a while. Don't call me back. Sorry. I'm so fucking sorry, " She says and hangs up, ending the voicemail. She starts sobbing, leaning her head against the steering wheel. Her fire-red hair a mess, and her pale green eyes full of salt and sadness. Sadness that would never disappear, not now.
It's all over, the missions over. Natalia's all alone, all her coworkers, friends, are gone. She's working alone now. She starts crying on her way to headquarters and is so damn close to walking into the traffic outside her door. She thinks for a long time about her new family. Zaira, Freddy, and Jonathan. Then her old family. Charlotte, James, and Oliver.
Damn, would she miss her old family? Yes, yes she would. 1000 percent guarantee. Would she miss her new family after she gets assigned to another team? Hell fucking yeah. Hell, she'd even go to Tabitha's funeral at this rate.
