His cold eyes crossed looks with mine. If for some reason there were a serial killer amongst us, and we had to chose who it was, I would acuse Damien.

Dad... They were so similar... Only Damien was much younger, and he didn't kill my sister. I supose I'm just imagining things, this boy may look like my father physically, but they are different persons.

My other partner was almost as strange as Damien. The little girl walked in silence by my side.

Damien cursed in russian while he tried reading a map we found in the main house. "This map is impossible!", he shouted.

Grace looked at the angry Damien with fright. I understood her, I felt the same way. Under his blond hair I could sense his piercing blue eyes looking at me.

I held my breath while he scanned me bitterly. A moment later he started walking into the forest. "Don't look at me like that, bitch", he murmured high enough for me to hear.

What a jerk, I thought before following him.
The little girl wore a blue dress, which was not the best for this kind of  excursion. I couldn't help smile; she was cute. Her short black mane was in two pigtails and she observed the trees with big hazel eyes. I felt bad for her, she was too young to be in this situation, too innocent.

Damien led us to a river, he sat down on a rock and searched for something in his bag. Surprisingly, a pack of some kind of round little things. I assumed they were pills.

He walked next to the water and swallowed one of the pills. Inmediatly after, he drinked of the river.

"Are you insane!?!? You don't know if that water is poisoned!!!", I screamed.

Damien laughed at my reaction and shook his hands, throwing water at both Grace and me.

I squeaked.

That asshole was going to regret it. I went into the river without hesitation and splashed at Damien with all my strenghth.

He laughed his ass off while trying to protect himself.

"Not bad blondie!"

I throwed a stone from the  floor at his face. He avoided the impact easily. I hated him so much I wanted to strangle him.

When we both returned to where Grace was, she was smiling. It is funny if you think about it, how two teenagers older than you are fighting between each other like four year old's.

Damien was still giggling, it was strange seeing him happy, even if was because he liked teasing me. He looked sort of handsome when he wasn't being a scary narrowminded jerk. But something still gave me the creeps...

"What were those pills you had before?", I asked him and instantly wished I hadn't.

His funny smile turned into a not very friendly face. Damien was about to explode, I could see his cheeks burning with anger.

"That's none of your business bitch, shut your mouth next time or I will kill you"

I was shocked at how quick he changed of humor. Curiosity was my worst  flaw. I could not help wonder what they were for. For some reason I felt it was better not to know.

We walked for a while in total silence. My legs hurt and my skin itched from the many mosquitoe bites I got last night.

"Ouch!", my head bumped with something. Damien was as still as a statue. I looked around to see why he had stopped.

A huge building stood in our way; well... at least it looked like a building. Everything were ruins. And the forest's flora had expanded inside its destroyed structure.

"What is this?"

Damien showed me his map and pointed at a drawing. Hospital, it red under it.

"Something happened to this place...", he said, "Yeah, maybe they demolished it or... Don't you think this is a bit suspicious...?", I asked.

Nobody said anything.

"I mean... The creepy recording told us this is a vacation island, and all we have found until now is a mountain of rocks, some cottages in the middle of nowhere and a river... We are supposed to be in front of a hospital, but this seems to have been shut down for ages!"

More awquard silence.

"Guys, the people who trapped us in here want us to kill each other, but why in hell would we do that?!?! For a stupid clue on how to get out of this island?!? I'm not gonna give up until I discover what is happening and go home without being an assassine..."

My heart raced after those words. Neither Damien or Grace responded. I sighed and walked towards the ruin. I was not going to let despair control me.

Someone touched my shoulder.

"Wait blondie... We will crush our enemies, we will find them and kill them... together"

For the first time since this adventure started, I didn't feel alone. Maybe Damien wasn't a total jerk after all...

The three of us walked into the remaining main door, ready to rock.
