A sigh escaped from Jackson before he slammed the door behind him,
locking it so Jennie couldn't dare escape from the house.

Tears rolled down Jennie's cheeks as she curled herself up into a ball. She
shut her eyes firmly as she tried forgetting every bit of abuse that she received in the hands of Jackson, her husband.

Meanwhile, Jackson drove towards the nearest club he always went to. A girl who was wearing a red fitted dress, showing her curves, instantly approached him with a grin.

"You're here." she whispered seductively at his left ear.

Jackson smiled at the scent of her, making him feel like he was in heaven. "Of course." he answered before pulling her with them towards his friends in the nearby table.

While Jackson enjoyed his night at the club, Jennie looked at herself in the
mirror as she traced all her bruises that he gave him. She couldn't help but sob at her own condition.

Suddenly, she heard knocks on the door and she immediately stood up from the bed. Opening it, she was welcomed by her drunk husband who smelled like he was drowned in a pool of alcohol.

"J-Jackson?" she called, scrutinising him.

A smile played on Jackson's lips at the sight of his wife. Raising his hand up to caress her cheek, he aggressively pulled her in a torrid kiss. Tasting the alcohol in his lips, Jennie tried to push him but she was already sent down the couch.

Removing his shirt, Jackson hovered above her and kissed her again as he tried to move his hands around her body.

Crying, Jennie felt weak as she let him took advantage of her that night. It was another nightmare for her and she didn't know if she'll recover.

Opening his eyes slowly, Jackson found himself naked under a thick blanket as he was laying down the couch. He sat down and rubbed his eyes to adjust his eyesight.

Smelling something from the kitchen, he turned to see his wife while she was cooking for his breakfast.
Jackson stood up and went to the bathroom to wash himself while Jennie tried to compose herself from crying. As soon as she finished cooking, a pair of strong arms slid around her waist as Jackson hugged her from the back.

She almost flinched at that but she was able to stop herself from doing so. Jackson nuzzled his nose against her shoulder.

"Thank you for yesterday night." he breathed in.

Jennie shut her eyes at that memory before she quickly proceeded towards the table and fixed everything for Jackson.

He could only look at her as if he didn't know what made her like this.
"You should eat now. You might get late." Jennie said without looking at
Jackson's eyes and went straight to their room to fetch his uniform.

Jackson ate peacefully as he waited for Jennie to come down. Seeing her
descending the stairs with his clothes in her hands, he noticed the bruises on her face.

Standing up, he made his way towards her as he looked at it closely.

"What happened to this?" he asked. Jennie froze in her spot when Jackson touched the bruise located in her neck.

Covering it with strands of her hair, she shook her head. "Nothing." then she walked away and began cleaning up the table.

Jackson furrowed his eyebrows at her actions. He knew she was ignoring him although it sounds funny but he really didn't remembered what happened except for that thing they shared.

That he don't know he was the one who forced her.

When Jennie placed the utensils on the sink, Jackson grabbed ger wrist
before he slammed her against the wall right beside the refrigerator.

Holding her chin, he tilted her head sideways as he tried finding another
bruises on her.

"What are these, Jen? Who did these to you, huh?" he asked.

A tear rolled down Jennie's cheeks and that's when she started speaking. "I see you really don't remember anything that happened or is it just you, trying to forget?" Jennie stared at him.

"You hurt me since the past few days and now you're asking me who did
these to me? Did the alcohol have that great impact on you that you don't
remember a single thing?" she ranted while Jackson could only look at her.

So it was me? Jackson thought.

"I don't care whenever you hurt me like this but I can't stand the thought of you being such a monster now that you even forced me to do that with you."

Jackson's eyes widened.

"Where is the Jackson that I married? The Jackson that I love? The Jackson
who told me to protect me? The Jackson who---"

Shutting her up, Jackson pressed his lips against her for a soft kiss this time as tears rolled down his and her cheeks.

Pulling her even closer to him by the waist, Jackson didn't want to hear
another word from her. It hurts him so much he could die right now. How on earth was he able to do that to his wife? Was she right? Is he becoming a monster now?

Still holding her cheeks, he whispered against her ears, "I'm sorry Jen. I'm
very sorry..."

Jennie shook her head. "You shouldn't be apologizing. You should start changing yourself and bring me back the old Jackson."

Nodding, Jackson said, "I promise I will."

Wrapping her hands around his waist, they shared their warmest hug that morning while he stroke her hair gently.
