SCENE: ZEBULON, GEORGIA, WEST CENTRAL PRISON FOR WOMEN. BO'S MOTHER BEVERLY ARSMTRONG is visiting DEBRA MOORE, Aisha's Grandmother. Beverly sits down. And picks up the phone...

MISS BEVERLY'S POV

"Where Aisha, where my grandbaby?" Debra Moore asks me soon as she picks that phone up. And I breathe out.

"Wit her daddy. I still came up here though to see you, because my son Bo is --" I stop and just shake my head. Because Bo is driving me crazy.

"He all in love with Aisha, already got one baby. And he driving me crazy," I admit to Debra.

"Hm. So Delontae done broke his promise to me already, hm. I figured as much," Debra say, and I watch her face through this glass.

"What promise, to bring Aisha up here?" I ask, and she nod. I take a deep breath.

"Debra I know you remember my oldest sister, Veronica? Actin' like a big ol' stud all the time -- She married, livin' all Hollywood now out in California," I say and smile.

"Veronica married? How many kids?"

"Girl, five."-

"Five? Woo alright then-"

"Yes, got a 4 year old - lemme see -- Thomas is 8, then she got three girls - 7, 15 and 22 years old," i let Debra know.

"Nooo-"

"Yeah girl," I say warming up to what I really wanna say.

"Well - I came anyway, by myself, because Delontae said Aisha was coming Sunday, they gotta get her in school and all that so she can start back on Monday, at the Academy -- I think that's gone be good for her, you know -- since she all on TV, the Rap Game, wit bigtime music producers just callin'-- and considerin' all that happened. You know," I say and Debra nods.

"Delontae definitely got enough money to make sure she has the best. That's one good thang," she tells me, and I watch her eyes. I smile and play it off. I squirm.

"My son gets out in three weeks. They locked him up, you know he helped with Aisha rescue and everythang-"

"Yes, I know, I'm so glad, and I'm so thankful and grateful he got to dat bitch ass nigga befo' he could kill my grandbaby," she tells me.

"Yes girl, yes, God is good. That was His will -- my son, and my husband and Tae, they didn't stop until they found her, my husband went to jail too. All for Aisha," I let Debra know.

"Mmhm, I'm thankful to yohusband, you tell him I said that, cuz they damn shol didn't stop, I heard about it. I was so muhhfuckin' thankful and proud, they did so good," she says.

"Mmhm," I agree, I was proud too. Considering.

"Bo wouldn't stop, he told me mama -- Aisha in trouble, she in trouble. And he was right. You  know he swear he in love wit Aisha and they gone get married. Girl I can't do nothin', he talks and talks about his own label, producing music and Aisha is his first artist - you know he did the beat for her song that Jermaine Dupri picked up," I tell Debra.

"Really?"

"Yeah girl, him and Aisha worked hard on it," I nod and smile. And I watch her eyes...

"Debra? I talked to Donna and everythang. I know Tae is Aisha daddy, just like I told Lorenzo, wit his ol ugly self," I say.

"That's a mothafucka. Dat Zo Butler ain't never been shit," Debra agrees.

"Mmhm. But he swear Aisha his tho. And -- Bo is convinced that something is wrong too," I say and breathe out. And Debra just nods.
