At the moment, Izuku should probably be scared out of his mind, but right now, all he could think about was how did she get in the lamp ?
"I haven't been summoned for thousands of years," the genie said, a little giddy, "I am a bit excited to grant your wishes. I hear humans have evolved. Have you acquired one of these, how you say, 'quirks'?"
Izuku's face fell.
"I'm uh," he searched for the word, "quirkless."
The ge- Yaoyorozu gave him a weird look, then realization dawned on her face. She quickly bowed in apology.
"I am sorry for causing distress," she apologized profusely.
"It's okay!" Izuku rushed over to the girl, "it's not a bad thing I guess."
Yaoyorozu then regained a formal posture.
"Well then," she locked eyes with Izuku, "what are your wishes, human. Riches? Love? Power?"
"A friend," whispered Izuku.
"What was that?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"A friend," repeated Izuku, louder this time, "I wish for you to be my friend,"
Taken aback, Yaoyorozu merely nodded.
"Your wish is my command, sir," There was a flash of light.
"Call me Izuku," he said.
"Very well," she smiled, "then call me Momo."
Izuku felt his cheeks warm up slightly. Yao- Momo seemed to be very nice, maybe even nicer than Kacchan! He'd just have to wait and see...
Midoriya Hisashi was a good man. Or so Izuku thought. He came home throwing open the door and shouting "Honey! I'm home!" Yaomomo, despite allowing Inko to see her, would not let Hisashi see her, opting to hide in Izuku's room.
All in all, Hisashi seemed like a good father and a faithful husband, but he was also good at lying. He lied about where he went at night, about what his job was. 10-year-old Izuku watched him flirt with other women and come home drunk.
Tonight was the worst. It had started as a simple argument between Inko and Hisashi, Inko wanting to know how the other's job went, but the latter refusing to answer.
"Why are you being so difficult?" questioned Inko over dinner. "You were so open before you left. What happened?"
"You worry too much," Hisashi replied, but Izuku could notice that forced smile and nervous sweat, "I assure nothing that you need to know of. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to use the restroom."
Izuku watched as his father stomped over towards the restroom, feeling as if something were wrong. It wasn't long before he excused himself and made his way upstairs to talk with Momo.
"Why are your parents fighting?" asked Momo when Izuku closed the door behind him.
"I don't know," said Izuku, deciding to wrap his arms around Momo subconsciously, "but I think dad is hiding something..."
The two talked for a bit, thinking over what Izuku had said, when a loud crash rang throughout the house.
"What the-" Izuku quickly ran out of his room, Momo following after, not caring if Hisashi saw her.
"What the HELL?!" Izuku heard his mom scream. In the kitchen was Inko, holding a picture, "Hisashi what the actual fuck?!"
Inko had never cursed. What happened?
"Inko, honey," Hisashi started, only to be cut off by his wife.
"Don't 'Inko, honey' me!" Inko shouted glaring at him, "Who is this?!?"
"Look, Inko," Hisashi's gaze hardened, "I'm sorry but it's not going to work out anymore. You got boring."
"BITCH," screamed Inko, driving a nearby All Might action figure into Hisashi's eye.
"Ouch," muttered Momo, wincing.
"Now," Inko growled, shoving a finger towards the door, "get out of my house."
The divorce was hard. Inko was constantly stressed, and Izuku often found himself being taken care of by Kyata. Momo tried to get Izuku to feel better, but he kept telling himself it was his fault. His fault Hisashi left, and his fault Inko was so stressed. ... But why? He did nothing-
