"Izukun!" Momo angrily hissed as the boy laid face down into his bed, "it's not your fault! It's Hisashi's for not noticing the great family he had in front of him!"
No reply. Momo groaned, setting herself on the edge of Izuku's bed, "You're not the reason he cheated."
Izuku didn't respond, all he did was sit up and cry.
Oh god, Momo thought. She didn't know how to comfort humans! They were so confusing. Awkwardly, she wrapped a hand around Izuku's shoulders, patting his head a few times. She couldn't help but look at him with a sort of fondness.
What are you doing!? Her conscience screamed, do not get attached! Wait, you're already attached. Good job, Yaoyorozu.
So she pushed those feelings back, still attempting to calm the crying Izuku.

The first time Izuku told Momo about the bullying was when he was 8. He had come home looking more beaten up than usual; his hair looked like the wind was constantly swirling it, his school uniform had multiple tears, and he looked like he was about to cry. The last bit wasn't unusual, but judging by his current appearance, it was something to worry about.
"Has something happened?" questioned Momo as Izuku walked into his room, only to be ignored.
"Leave me alone," Izuku mumbled, flopping onto his bed face-first.
"Izuku," Momo decided to poke the bear, "what is wrong?"
"I said," he threw a pillow at her, "leave me alone."
"Fine," Momo said, but she sat on the end of his bed, waiting for him to eventually open up. After 5 minutes, he did.
"Sorry for throwing a pillow at you, Momo," he muttered, "and sorry for being rude."
"It's quite alright, Izuku," she said, then pat his head affectionately, "are you up for sharing?"
"Yes," he groaned, moving to face Momo. She smiled warmly, then opened her arms.
"C'mere," she laughed, and when Izuku did, she hugged him tightly, "now, what's bothering you?"
"Kacchan," he said, his voice only going above a whisper, "it's Kacchan."
Now she was confused. Who was Kacc- oh no.
"Izuku," she was worried. The last time he talked about "Kacchan" was after he came home wet and bruised, "are you, perhaps, talking about Bakugou Katsuki?"
He nodded, sniffing a bit.
"And what did 'Kacchan' do?" she asked, holding him against her.
"He called me useless Deku," he sniffed again, "then he started hitting me. He told me it was my fault my dad left my mom."
Now, Momo was pissed, her face contorted into an angry snarl, "he said what?"
"It's not like he wasn't right," Izuku whispered, "maybe if I wasn't a useless Deku, dad would still be h-"
"Bull," Momo smiled softly at the boy, "you are not useless. It was not your fault he left. You are, in fact, one of the best summoners I have ever met. Determination and passion are hard to come by; most of my summoners wanted wealth or love, it didn't matter to them if those things were temporary. You, however, only wished for a friend, something that can last a lifetime."
She pat his head unconsciously, but didn't stop when she noticed. It felt.... right, in a sense. She held onto him as if he were to be ripped from her arms at any minute.

Izuku was 13 now.
Him and Momo had grown closer throughout the years, despite her constant nagging about his cleanliness and whatnot. One day, Izuku resolved to do.... something.
"I wish you would help me train," he told Momo, "help me train to get into UA."
Momo smiled at Izuku's determination and ruffled his hair a bit.
"Your wish is my command," she waved her hands, and suddenly they were in Izuku's room. Momo handed Izuku a packet of paper, roughly an inch thick.
"Here is a training schedule," she said, "complete with meal plans and such."
She went on to explain, but Izuku found himself being drawn to her face. Maybe for the way she spoke?
