i closed the door and headed out.

i left slightly early, so i could have time to drop by the convenience store nearby and get some food.

i was walking behind someone, but i didn't pay any attention to that. we both arrived there, and you opened the door for me with a smile. you looked familiar.

i smiled back and slightly bowed as a show of thanks. we looked around the same age. i entered and you followed in.

you went towards where the coffee and milk were while i went to where the food was. i picked up a 삼각김밥(triangle kimbap) and some honey butter almonds.

i needed a drink, so i headed towards where the coffee and flavored milks were, and you were still there.

your eyebrows were furrowed while looking at all the milk. you went to grab a chocolate milk before you retracted your arm. you were about to get a regular milk until you stared at the milks again. your eyes were looking at where the banana milks were placed. you let out a "tsk" and saw me next to you.

"random question, but um. what milk should i buy? i'm contemplating between coffee and chocolate, but then again, i'm not really craving either," you asked me, a total stranger.

flustered, i tried responding without stuttering. that failed.

"oh! um. i would get... um... i don't know if you would like it, but i like strawberry milk. of course, you don't have to get it. it's just a preference," i ranted.

you quickly took out two strawberry milks.

"thanks jiwoo. i'll buy you one too since you said you liked it."

how do you know my name? are you a stalker?

"not to be rude, but how do you know my name?"

"you're going to hanlim multi arts after this, right?"

i slowly nodded while you smiled.

"i'm going there as well! i've seen you around the halls a few times. also, how would i not know the infamous jiwoo? you have quite the good rep," you explained.

"ohhhh! you go there too? also, i have a reputation?"

"yeah! of course, the great jiwoo is known! rumor has it that she has great vocals," you whispered the last part to me.

"but don't tell her i said that," you told me jokingly.

i giggled and you put the strawberry milks on the counter.

"put your food down. i'll pay for it," you assured.

i was hesitant at first, but slowly put it down.

you gave me a smile. how could i not smile back? it was so charming and cute.

you paid for my food and drink and took it. you handed my things to me and i thanked you once more. you opened your carton of milk and stuck a straw in.

i stared at you, wondering what you thought of my favorite milk.

you must have noticed because you looked back at me, staring at my curious face before smiling.

"i've been missing out," you said.

"on what?"

"a girl named jiwoo and strawberry milk," you answered.

"strawberry milk is great, isn't it? wait... i'm a girl named jiwoo," i realized.

you laughed at my new knowledge and confirmed it.
