Lexi sat in the lounge waiting on Eric to make his way back. He had set off chasing the man to see what he wanted. She sat waiting, a drink in her hand and her once styled hair, tussled downwards to her back. She sighed, this was disconcerting.

"Did you find him?" She asked anxiously as she spotted Eric.

"No he disappeared." Eric responded, flopping down on the seat.

"Who was he?" She queried.

"I have no idea." Eric responded, taking a long drink from his glass.

"What does he want?" She pondered aloud. "What is he after?"

"He has pictures of us... In bed." Eric sighed.

"But-but why? What's he going to do with them?"

"God only knows, Lexi." Eric flustered round his crooked tie.

"Blackmail?"

"No, I don't think so."

"I don't get it."

"I don't either but..." He took up the glass once more and placed it to his lips. "I don't think it has anything to do with blackmail."

"Then what?"

"Time will tell.... Unless I do something quick."

"Eric, I have no idea what you're talking about." She expressed.

"What I'm talking about is a father-in-law to be who would like to see me fry." Eric explained.

"You're joking!" Eric gave her a serious look. "Your father-in-law did that?"

"Yeah." He muttered darkly. "It's a very distinct possibility."

"I called you what? An hour ago?" She calculated out loud, gesticulating with her hands. "Did you tell anyone you were coming here?"

"No."

"Then trust me, nobody knows." She explained. "Our photography friend got the wrong room."

"Lexi I sure hope you're right." He said, massaging his temples.

"I always said you have delusions of grandeur." She teased. "People following you around with cameras, really?" She scoffed. "Say, weren't we in the middle of something when that wayward photographer interrupted?"

"You're incredible!" Eric exclaimed.

"Insatiable is the word, love." She purred. "When it comes to you."

"The mood, as they say my dear, is gone." Eric replied.

"Bet I can get it back." She teased.

"Yeah, I bet you could." He agreed.

"Then why don't you say we sneak upstairs, do it right his time, the way we used to Eric."

"I think I better go home."

"I think we better go back to my room." Lexi corrected.

"No, Lexi." Eric stated seriously.

"When will I see you again?"

"You'll be here in town for a while?" He asked getting up from the chair.

"Not a long while." She stated, stretching her neck up to see him.

"I'll keep that in mind." He said, buttoning his jacket. "Good night, Lexi." He said with a wink and a smile.
