Eric and Cole were still in the room waiting when Wyatt knocked on the door. Eric called out for him to enter and he did, he watched his sons with a slight frown.
"Were you expecting someone else?"
"We hoped it would be you, dad." Eric countered with an easy smile.
"Well would you look at that," Wyatt beamed. "My sons, you've never looked so handsome."
"Not too shabby yourself, dad." Eric replied stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Caroline would be happy with either one of you." Wyatt told them.
"Ah, dad, don't give him any ideas." Eric warned. Cole chuckled and left his brother's side.
"I hope you know how proud a moment this is for your mom and me," Wyatt told his son sincerely. "Our first born getting married. And such a beautiful captivating woman." Wyatt strode forward to his son. "Can I talk to you as a father for a minute?"
"No, go ahead. Say it."
"Eric I'm all aware that you're a man, not a boy. That you have your own ideas and convictions. And up until now you've pretty much lived life on your own terms. Which I suppose is acceptable, as long as you're responsible only to yourself for yourself." Wyatt paused to ensure that he was listening. "But now there's a woman in your life and a very special one. You know that as well as I do that the fashion business, our world in general offers temptations at every turn. Don't give into it. Make this commitment a lasting one." Wyatt then smiled. "And one of luxury."
"I appreciate that." Eric told him honestly. "And I intend to make it a lasting one. I love Caroline. I've done a lot of stupid things but that's all behind me now."
Wyatt smiled brightly then, so proud of the growth he is seeing within his son. He pulled him into a hug, his joy immeasurable.
"Come here son." Wyatt called Cole over to him as he pulled away from Eric. He hugged his younger son tightly before letting go. "It's a great day, for all of us." Wyatt then pulled them into a group hug. He was extremely proud in this moment. "Well it shouldn't be long now," He pulled back to speak to his children. "I just saw Rashard Young go into his daughter's room."
"Ahm, how was he?" Eric asked nervously.
"Now that you ask, a bit solemn." Wyatt confessed.
"Solemn?" Cole asked just as anxious.
"Yes, he's giving his daughter away." Wyatt spoke with conviction. "I assume I'll look the same when I have to give Victoria away when she decides to get married."
"But he was alright other than that." Eric probed.
"Yes, he's alright. Why wouldn't he be?" Wyatt waited a couple seconds for his sons to speak. "Well I better get to your mother." Wyatt turned then and opened the door to leave the room.
"Dad!" Eric called.
"Yes, son?"
"Thanks for stopping by."
Wyatt smiled and pointed at his son. "I'll see you at the altar."
Eric and Cole watched their father leave the room as they waited for the ceremony to begin. "Oh man, I thought Young was gonna blow me and the wedding to pieces." Eric sighed in relief.
"You lucked out, big brother."
"You can say that again." Eric replied grinning. "That I did! That I did!"

"Honey," Rashard told his daughter, clasping her shoulders. "I wanna talk to you. There is something I have to tell you."
